I've read the previous review on the service with this dealership. I reluctantly made an appointment to have my a/c looked out since it was only blowing warm air. . The car is under warrenty. The CS rep. had a major attitude upon our arrival. Very unfriendly and told us that IF a rock hit the lines, the warrenty would not cover the expense to repair it. How a rock would hit the lines is beyond me. Needless to say, we were uncomforable with thet atmosphere there and decided to take our key back and get out of there. Appeared shady and based on what I read here, we decided to be safe (leave) than be sorry later. .

I have just purchased a car from southern states nissan, I was shown the vehicle and told it was going to be brought up to like new standards. I was told it would be ready the next day. i waited a week, not until after the paperwork was finished was i allowed to see it. I first noticed the undercarraige was filled with mud the inside still had dirt on it ( They tried to get certain area's but missed others) and body pieces were damaged. I asked for them to be fixed but was turned down. I brough my complaint to nissan corporate to amanda platie (regional specialist) she was even ruder then the manager.

This is the worst place to bring your Nissan, I have brought 2 Nissan's to this dealership. They are crooks and liars. They tamper with your vehicle as it is being serviced, so you will bring it back to have it checked out so they can charge you for a service they damaged. DO NOT TAKE YOUR NISSAN TO SOUTHERN STATES NISSAN OF APEX. THEY ARE THE WORST NISSAN SERVICE DEALER...

I've been to some bad/shady service spots before but this one takes the cake. I brought my car in for an oil change. They suggested an air filter replacement which I stupidly agreed to thinking it would be simple and quick. It took more than 3 hours (no exaggeration) and they scratched my door in the process. They offered me a 10% discount for my trouble, and said they would repair the scratch and re-paint. Brought my car in the first time, left it all day, they never called. I called at the end of the day and they said it didn't get done. Had to bring my car in a second time. They did finish the job this time, however they also got paint on my rear view mirror.

2 weeks later, the paint repair flakes off and I call the manager (Mr. Bernard) to tell him they need to pay for me to get it fixed by someone who has a clue what they're doing. He says I have to bring it in so they can look at it (after I call him 3 times with no response by the way). Finally he agrees on a time I can bring it in and he claims that it was a separate incident even though the scrape is identical to what was "fixed" previously. He acknowledges it is in the same spot, etc. but says it is a coincidence. Seriously.

Terrible customer service the whole time -- no apologies by anyone, basically accusing me of trying to scam them. He still refuses to pay and I will likely end up having to go to court just to get compensated for the damage they did. Basically, avoid them at all costs. They are incompetent, take a long time, try to upsell repairs to everyone and are really shady.

I have read the reviews on this site and am astonished! I have been buying my cars at Nissan of Apex since they opened. I have never had a better sales experience! I also have all my maintenance done at this location on both of my Nissan's. The service department has ALWAYS been top notch and ALWAYS courteous! Yeah...sometimes it costs more than an independent but I have realized that you get what you pay for. I depend on my cars for work and family and I can tell you Nissan of Apex has NEVER let me or my wife down. As long as I am buying cars and having them serviced I will go to Nissan of Apex period!

They are very shady and do not know what they're talking about. They told me a switch went out in my AC. When I took it to Precision Tune, they told me it was a computer problem. I took the report from Precision Tune back to Southern States and they told me the same thing Precision Tune wrote in their report. What amazes me is they replaced my engine, and my AC hasn't worked since. They told me that eventhough they had to remove the AC, it had nothing to do with the AC not working. Well, my AC worked just fine before they installed the new engine...hmmmmmmmm By the way, they told me it costs over $1,000.00 to fix the AC

I took my automobile that is under NISSAN extended warranty in to get the windshield washer repaired. They repeatedly told me it was not covered on the warranty and would cost me around $300 to fix. I spoke to the sales manager, who played stupid and said they didn't know about my particular warranty, nor did he offer to research. ITS A NISSAN WARRANTY! After some internet research and numerous calls to the Nissan helpline in India, I found out it WAS covered under the warranty. After presenting this info to the GM they did give me my money back, but still I wonder how many people have they lied to about this stuff.

I just had my car serviced at Nissan of Apex and while I was there I ended up buying my wife a new Altima. The helpfulness of the entire staff was tremendous. From the salesman to the finance manager, everything was top notch. I have been servicing my vehicle here since 2003 and have had nothing but excellent service. I would recommend these guys to anyone!

They are liars and will rip you off. I have a file the height of a TV set trying for a year to take some action against them to no avail. The better business bureau doen't care and neither does the Attorney Generals Office. For odometer fraud and not living up to warranty agreements. Which has cost me almost 4,000 so far. Now I have transmission issues that is still covered under manufactures warranty as well as my extended warranty through NIssan that no one wants to fix. Forget trying to go to the GM because he won't address these issues either. I hope he sees these messages but it won't really matter to him he's already got our money. It was supposed to be "The Nicest 350Z I'd Ever Buy".

If anyone is interested in doing business with them, you should visit the website for the Better Business Bureau of Eastern North Carolina http://www.bbbenc.org . They have an unsatisfactory record in resolving complaints.You will also see that I am not the only one that has had to file a complaint with them. I have also filed a complaint to Nissan Consumer Affairs. Buyer Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!
