Went in for oil change. Confirmed rack rate that is pasted all over advertising. In middle of service, I received a call from the service manager suggesting I needed, among other things, the air filter replaced. I declined. Additionally, I am told that the oil filter will add $10 to the price b/c it is a ""special"" cartridge filter for that car. Ouch. You'd think as professionals who see these type of cars everyday, they'd know this ahead of time and inform the customer. When I check out, the sales agent charges extra for the 5th quart of oil they ""needed"" to add. I was told, ""I guess your car was thirsty"". Never had I had such a foul and condescending experience at any other service station. An oil change wound up costing me in the neighborhood of $40. I would not go here again or trust these people to service any of my cars.\r

My wife had her breakes repaired by these guys and a week after having them fixed, most of her lugs nuts fell off while she was driving. When we called they ""forgot"" to tighten them. She almost got in an accident and hurt or worst and all they said was sorry and here is two free oils changes. Steer clear of this place or this could happen to you!!!!!!!! We will never go back not even for the free oil changes!!!

I took my car to the Precision Tune on Hillsborough St. in Raleigh to have my alignment done the other day. I had just purchased new tires two days before, and after the rotation and balancing, the car was pulling to the left.\r
I dropped my car off in the morning and went to work and came back to pick it up later that afternoon. I walked in and everyone was in the bay, including the manager. \r
Without going into detail - the manager made remarks about ""faggots"" from out of the blue, as part of regular small talk. I hate discrimination!\r
I get in my car and start down the road. After I get out of town and onto the highway I notice that my car is still pulling to the right. I let go of the wheel and it immediately starts pulling into the left lane. I try it in every straightaway and find that it?s consistent and somewhat worse than it was before. Furious, I decide to call their customer service number when I get to my destination. I definitely don?t want to go back to the shop I just came from.\r
I call the customer service line and the girl seems to take my case seriously, and even acts shocked when I mention the attendant?s discriminatory remarks. She takes my information and tells me that they have a 48 hour turnaround and that the District Manager will be contacting me. I ask if there?s any way she can speed up the process since I don?t want to drive on my new tires if they are misaligned. She says that she can only guarantee 48 hours. \r
47 hours later I call back. She is not friendly this time and merely tells me that there?s an hour left and that the DM will call me before the allotted period. She says that she?ll call him and make sure. He doesn?t call.\r
I call the next morning and she says that he was out yesterday afternoon and that she?ll call him now and make sure that he calls me back. I ask if I can speak to anyone above the DM, but she tells me that there is no public figure above the DM that I can talk to. \r
Don?t go to Precision Tune!

I went in to Precision Tune about a month ago to get my front stuts replaced. I dropped my car off on a Saturday morning, intending to pick it up later that afternoon. It was not done when they had said it would be but there was no apology. A week later, my SUV started making a lot of underbody noise and lurching when I turned. I took it to my car dealership, where I found out that they had failed to tighten the struts properly. The technician there said the fasteners looked like they had been finger tightened they were so loose. I was lucky my tires didn't come off while driving.

I went to Precision Tune on Saturday, July 27,2007 for an oil change and an inspection. I needed and agreed to a brake job as well. Well, all seemed normal for a little while then the Tech asked me to step into the service bay to review some information on my brake rotors, based on his assessment they had to be replaced. I asked them to call me when they were done and I went home. Well, about an hour or so later my phone rings and the Tech tells me that my Master Cylinder was leaking and it must be replaced. I told him I have never had to add any break fluid to my Master Cylinder to date and I didn't understand why it needed to be replaced. At this point I am really uncomfortable but it is my break system and I do not want to take any chances so I approve this service. I realize how this sounds and you wont beleive the rest of the story, after being in the service bay all day Saturday I go to pick up my vehicle and I pay my bill and get in my truck to leave and the Brake Service lights come on and the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor. I go back inside and advise Donald (Manager) of my discovery. They put my truck back in the service bay and after another hour they advised me they would have to get another Master Cylinder from the warehouse, well this is 6:30 PM on Saturday and they are closed on Sunday so I would have to leave my vehicle there and they would perform the rework on Monday. After no contact on Monday I went by there after work, it is not ready, they told me they were going to have to bring in a Tech from another location and he would work on it on Tuesday. They had no reasonable explanation and I had to insist they provide a rental vehicle. I am going to cut to today August 3, 2007 I do not have my truck fixed yet. Although this situation has not ended I beleive this says enough to be able to establish poor service by Precision Tune Auto Care. I will provide an additional review shoud this situation get any worse, I sure hope not. MCR

I decided to stop back by the shop and have them check everything out. As they examined my car, they realized that they had left my oil cap off and that they had lost it. The manager, Donald, said that they would have to order me a new oil cap and that I would have to wait an hour and a half until my car was ready. He then proceeded to say to me, ""Haven't you ever made a mistake"" and throws a greasy coupon at me for a free oil change. Needless to say, I was completely shocked at his rudeness and lack of remorse about the issue, because no one there apologized for the mistake. Then, when I demanded my money back, he flat out said no, and that if I had a complaint I could call customer service of troubleshooter.
