I wouldn't really rate hungates as an arts and crafts supply store. At one point I think thsts what they were, now they seem kinda like a crafty toy shop. they sell a lot of model trains, planes and what not...and those legos that you can connect together and motorize. This is a fun store to go into, and the staff is always helpful in helping you find what you need.

I love this store. They have all kinds of hobby supplies. I can spend hours walking through the store and looking at everything. The customer service is also the greatest. They are very helpful and attend to your every need. I know if I am ever in a jam someone in the store can answer my questions and solve my problems.

I wasn't really impressed with this store because it was more expensive and not really the type of toy store I shop in. However, it does offer a very good selection of model supplies, like for model cars and airplanes, etc. I would say they they carry a more upscale line of toys, like Thomas the Train, Madeline, and other "boutique" type brands. If I was looking for that kind of stuff, I'd say they were a good place to shop, but it just wasn't my cup of tea.

My husband loves this store, he builds model cars and he can find anything he needs here. They have everything from model cars, RC cars, boats, trains to playmobile. They have a great selection and a great staff, they are always very plesant and helpful!

Hungates is great because they have so meany super neat things. they have lego like things that you can battery power and make move...and tons and I do mean tons of model cars, airplanes etc. I always want to buy thinsg here and build build build.
Things are a little expensive, but your buying quality.
