OMG... Not surprised to see all these poor reviews of the staff and service in this store. I have shopped there on several occasions only to be given the cold shoulder and unfriendly, snappy tones from the staff. No one there ever

Worst Hallmark store in this area! I would advise visiting the Apex store where you are treated how you deserve to be treated, like a welcomed customer! Fuquay Varina's very own Hallmark store is the worst Hallmark venture ever and it would do the corporation justice to take away their right to have the Hallmark name. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that customers are treated like liars, they are not at all familiar with customer service. Worse customer service experience EVER!!! I will never ever visit that store again, and I will make sure every person I come in contact with at church, work, FHS athletic events, any social event I can, I will advise people to visit the awesome owner over at the Apex store and unfortunatley advise them of my terrible experience to make sure the same does not happen to anyone else. Terrible experience!!! TRUST ME! DO NOT GO THERE!

From the minute you walk in the store, you are "glared" at and watched. I do not know how one store could have so many rude employees. By the way, if you have children, don't take them in this store. It is VERY clear that they do not like children in their store. The store itself is a very nice store. They have a wonderful selection of gift items. But, I will take my business to the Hallmark in Apex or at Crossroad's in Cary (which is a VERY friendly store) so I will not feel judged or treated as if I am "lowly".

I brought in a gift I had received, with the Peggy's Hallmark price tag, to ask to make an exchange. They refused, "it's policy to only issue a refund or exchange with a receipt or gift receipt." There's a big difference between a refund and an exchange. An exchange costs nothing, and as it's unlikely I would exchange for merchandise of the exact same value, I would have spent additional money in the store. To make matters worse, the clerk, one of four in an empty store, kept saying ignorant things like, "Maybe you could try one of our sister stores..." Do they have a different policy, or are you trying to make me more angry by driving around further in vain?! "Maybe you could try back next week..." I'm here today, and look at my 39-week pregnant belly; I'm not driving one-hour round trip next week in hopes the policy has miraculously changed. Makes no business sense whatsoever; Peggy deserves to go out of business.

I have given this store three chances, but no more. The first time I went to this store the sales clerk was very unfriendly which was a totally different experience than I was used to having at the Hallmark store where I moved from. When I asked for help finding a certain item the lady acted like I was bothering her. She did not get any friendlier when I was checking out.

The second time I was there to buy our annual Christmas ornament along with several other items that totalled over $35. My 4-year-old had to go to the bathroom and when I asked to use their restroom they refused and told me to use the one at Kroger!

I returned again today. I had a coupon for a free kid's card and a $2.00 off coupon from their survey. I brought four cards to the counter to purchase. First she told me that I could not use both coupons and would not let me ring them up separately. Then when I tried to use just the $2.00 off coupon she said she could not accept it because I had cut it off from the receipt. She said I had to prove that the receipt was from their store. There is absolutely nothing on there that states that you cannot remove the coupon from the receipt. When I pointed that out to her she very rudely told me she would not take it. I left my cards on the counter and left. I will not return to this store.

DO NOT SHOP at this Hallmark store by Kroeger! I shop at local businesses whenever possible so I went in there to pick up a present for my husband. The ladies were clearly irritated that I brought kids into the store. After chasing my 2-year-old around, I went to the counter to check out. Once I was done, I put my purse on my shoulder, picked up the baby, grabbed the bag and my son's hand. My purse slipped off my shoulder, jerked my arm, and I dropped the bag. The gift shattered into a million pieces. The cashier had absolutely no sympathy at all! So I asked the her if she would be willing to give me a discount on another one since she only wrapped it in tissue paper (no box). She said no, because it was clearly my fault. Obviously when the mugs are shipped to them, they come in boxes - she could have easily sent it back to the manufacturer and had no cost to them. I am sure for the price I paid for that - they could have bought 5 more at the same cost. I will never return to that store and hope that the people reading this think twice about supporting their business.

Recently went there to purchase a gift for a family member and had the rudest experience from the employees. Definitely will NOT be shopping here again. I like to support my local businesses, but this is an exception. I would rather drive 25 minutes to go to another store than to deal with this store again.

Peggy's has a nice selection, similar to most Hallmark stores that you visit. The staff is usually friendly. Be careful moving through the store, as the store is packed with displays of products - figurines, etc. The usual Hallmark fare - cards, stationary, trinkets. Decent location.

This is pretty much a standard gold Hallmark store. With that being said, they are a gold store, so the selection is greater than at some Hallmark stores.

This is a great store - they have lots of variety and right now they have a huge clearance going on. 50 -75% off on many things. The service is good and they have a wide variety of cards and gifts to choose from.

This store has a large selection of cards and gift items. Employees are helpful and they giftwrap. They recently started carrying the Lampe Berger oils and lamps.
