My boyfriend's family has been going here for over 15 years. The vets are wonderful, they have followed several of our animals from puppy and kittenhood to having to put them down. The past few months, we went through having to put our cat down and getting a new puppy. All of the vets including Dr. McClees, Dr. Paul and Dr. Tapley were great throughout both processes. My only issue is with the front office staff. I have spend over $1500 here in the last six months, and twice they have forgotten I was in the office and I waited over 30 minutes to be seen. When I went up to ask why I had not been seen, they looked at me like I was bothering them or I had a horn growing out of my head and said "we are waiting for a room to open up." Come to find out, both times they had gotten busy chatting about their boyfriends and left my chart on someone's desk. Several people who came in after me were seen before me, and I had an appointment. The girls sit and gossip about Facebook and vacation, while my animals and I wait. I will probably continue to use this vet because we have been going there for so long, but I have seriously considered switching vets just because of the terrible front office service.

I have used Havelock Animal Clinic for almost 30 years! Dr. McClees is one of the finest Vets I've ever known. If he can't fix it - nobody can! His kind compassionate treatment of all of my animals through the years has been nothing short of heroic. When my cat Shorty fell out of a pine tree, dragged himself home I knew there was nothing to do but put him down. X-rays showed he broke his pelvis in three places. I knew it was the end. Dr. M said, Hold on! Luckily it's broken in the only three places in the pelvis that will heal. With a lot of Nursing care he will be fine. Eight weeks later Shorty was back on duty as the top mouser in my barn. Years later he's still fine and going like nothing ever happened to him. The whole clinic has been with me through the happy days of new puppies and kittens and the sad days of putting them down. It's been quite an experience. You can put your trust in the fact that they will give there all to you and your pet. I've recently moved and will always miss the love and support from everybody there. 30 years is a long time! Miss you guys!

All 4 of our dogs are seen at this vet. WE LOVE THEM!! The best vet I have ever been too, the staff is very sweet and caring. They are clean, and professional as well. Ive only had one problem and the manager took care of the problem immediatley, bc. the girl doesnt work their anymore. The doctors know exactly what they are telling you and are also compassionate about their job.

I have nothing but positive things to say. When my dog became sick, I took him there. Even though they were stumped at first, they worked with my husband and I, and our dog, and kept track of his progress or regress. They were willing to hold checks so that I could still have my pet seen even though I would not have the money until pay day. They were especially compassionate when they diagnosed our pet with chronic renal failure. These are a great group of people, and I wouldn't trust my pets' health with anyone less so.

They were so understanding and kind when I had to put my first cat two sleep, two of the vet techs were crying with me. Being fresh out of boot camp, I didn't have a lot of money, but they were willing to hold the check until after payday and then cash it in. When I ended up getting my second cat, she got bug poison in her eye and they rushed her in and took care of her, even though I was only a walk in. When I got my dog and noticed she was limping a few days after I got her their vet said that her previous owner had dislocated her hip long ago. When we asked what we could do for her he said that the only thing wouldn't help her too much in the long run, only take away the limp. It would mostly be a waste of money and cause her undue pain and suffering. Other clinics I've been to would've tried to squeeze the money out of me but they didn't. I'll use them for as long as I'm here!

This is the BEST animal hospital I've ever been to! My puppy got really sick (PARVO--look it up, it's horrible) and they saved his life! The second I walked in they knew what was wrong, and I was hoping that I was wrong. I'll never go anywhere else!!! I could never thank them enough for saving my baby!!

Havelock animal hospital is the best place to take your pet if it is after hours and your vet is closed. When my cat was real sick i brought her there and they found her problem rightaway and saved her life. Most of all they care alot about all the amimals that they see.
