Called about a used 2007 Dodge Ram truck. Gave a decent offer that would still benefit them. They pretty much told me they do not deal at all on any used or new vehicle. Not really sure what that means in the car "DEALING" business? Last time I checked the economy was not the best. Don't they want to sell vehicles at great prices and still profit? Needless to say they would not work with me at all. Not one penny difference and I was going to pay cash, $13,000 cash. Well guess who gave me a great deal just down the road. Beach Ford put me in a truck for a great price the very next day. I want to thank Beach Ford but as for Mr. Underwood you guys need help in the car "DEALING" aspect. Quality is job one!!

Chrysler Custome rcomplaint

I purchased a new 2006 Chrysler 300C from Underwood & Millard Chrysler Jeep Dodge, 501 South Madison Street, Whiteville NC 28472 Phone: 910-642-2000 on 15 July 05 with Continental tires rated at 80, 000. After several thousand miles the tires began to bounce and I told my wife to take it back to the dealership and have the tires rotated and balanced. The service man told my wife one of the tires wouldn?t balance very well but he hoped he caught it in time. The tires were much better for about four thousand miles and they started the same thing and I carried it back to the dealer and was told to contact the tire company which was continental tires. I called continental tire company and relayed the message as I was told. (File #28365). The tire company did not have a dealer in my area and I was asked to carry the vehicle to Sears in Fayetteville. I went to Fayetteville, NC on 18 Aug 2006. Sears removed all four tires from my vehicle and called for me to go outside and view the tires. The serviceman told me that my tires were cupping due to vehicle being out of alignment and no adjustment would be made. Wear on the rear tires was obvious and one tire had only 5/32 of tread left. Since tire rotation I had driven the vehicle four thousand miles and a pattern of wear had begun on the front tires, which was rotated from the rear of vehicle.

I returned home and went to Chrysler dealership and told them what nday 21 Aug 2006. I called the service manager on Monday and repeated information concerning tires to him and asked when I could get the vehicle alignment corrected. I was given an appointment at 9AM the next morning (22 Aug 06) Vehicle mileage (13033) and asked for oil change and service since the vehicle would be at his location. (Alignment by Southern Tire and Muffler)

When my wife picked up the vehicle and she inquired about the tires she was told to contact
Chrysler?s office and was given the phone number to make the call. I called the number and spoke to a lady named (Jasmine) and told her the circumstances I was calling about. She informed me that the tires were not covered under Chrysler?s warranty, which I told her I already knew that but I was seeking compensation for adjustment on new tires since the vehicle was out of alignment when I purchased the vehicle and I had driven it only 13,000 miles and thought no fault of my own my tires were unserviceable and I felt as if I was being penalized for the vehicle being out of alignment. She left the phone to seek further advice and when she returned she said and I quote ?Chrysler was not responsible for me driving off the lot with the vehicle out of alignment?.

Well, I talked to the dealer by phone on 25 Aug 06 (Van Underwood) and relayed all the above information and was told he would get back to me. As of this date no response has been received.

I have since purchased a set of tires not rated as high as the original tires for $562.44 and expect Chrysler to share a large portion of this amount. I have the old tires on hand for anyone to visibly see the pattern of wear.

We were able to do the entire deal through email and phone calls. They transported our new minivan from another dealership to theirs.
