Denise Petrey brings compassion, sensitivity and intuition to her clinical expertise of massage. Her outer office setting is clean and inviting and her massage room presents a comfortable cocoon. For a relaxing bit of heaven, she's definitely the one to see.

Denise is so skilled at what she does that I make it a point to see her each month for preventive care. Her massage technique has helped me gain flexibility and keeps me from needing much "emergency" care. I highly recommend Denise Petrey to anyone wanting excellent deep tissue massage by a skilled, compassionate, and gifted healer.

Denise Petrey at Soma Med is one of the most amazing therapists I have ever encountered. Her greatest strength is her ability to truly listen to her clients and pinpoint the source of their pain or ailment in a way that prompts healing for the long term. The facility is also first-rate with a caring and hospitable staff. I am a constant traveller, with frequent back and leg pain from a previous car accident. Denise never ceases to alleviate my pain and is always looking for better methods with which to attend her clients, and is a constant source of information and advice about nutrition, exercise, and even spiritual advice which helps you to feel that she truly cares
and has the background and expertise to fully engage any problem that might arise. I highly recommend Denise and Soma Med.

After 12 years, I can only say thank you. Denise is more than just a massage therapist. She is truly a compassionate person who helps you through all of life's bumps. Every massage is geared to the aches and pains of that day. Never a rote treatment. If you want to converse, she is well read on all topics. I have been going to Soma Med for about 2 1/2 or 3 years. I had horrible pain in both hips and had been getting Physical Therapy, which did not help. After 3 sessions with Denise the pain began to subside. I had been on pain medication too because of the amount of pain I had. I was able to stop the medication altogether. I am able to exercise now, which I had not been able to do for about a year before I went to Soma Med. I continue to go twice a month for pain management, and for massage. Denise is extremely knowledgeable about the body,muscles etc. She has been able to help me stay out of the doctor's office and the Chiropractor's office (of which I went every month). I would highly recommend Soma Med for anyone with back or hip problems. She gives a wonderful massage too!

I've been getting deep tissue massage from Denise for almost 10 years, I believe and have always been completely satisfied with her services. Her office provides a surprisingly relaxed atmosphere in the heart of the bust city.
