New hot tub back in 05 6800 total cost. First off never called me about the side panels having glue stuck to it--I gave up trying to get that replaced even though they told me they would-- it finally wore of after time. Always went to them through the years buying different things I needed for the spa- they always could pull my information and find it...Then I call a couple weeks back to order--My 3rd hot tub cover they tell me what it will run I get to the store---225.00 more then then quote on the phone and he took forever to wait on me and when I ask about the price I got quoted over the phone he acted like he was clueless--then I call today and they flat lie and tell me they cant pull up my hot tub and tell me what type filters I need for mine---but they never had a problem doing it before--or the last time I got one from them...I was thinking about a new above ground pool but no way I would buy another single thing from them..Not a filter not spa chemicals--NOTHING....

I bought a spa off of joe brooks of sanford florida it broke down within 5 months. Called for service with no success beware of this sales person, promises the world and get crap in return period. Tried to get service and still been waiting 2 month for a part!

We purchased a pool AND INSTALLATION from Rec Warehouse in Lakeland FL & after just 2 mths, could NOT keep the pool clean. We spent over $300 in chemicals, including a new $100 filter that we had to purchase from Rec until finally after numerous phone calls to the Asst Mgr and then an email on their website, got the Mgr to come out to house only to find that the installers never plugged in the Ionizer that we purchased (an additional $300 on top of the pool)!! The Ionizer was supposed to eliminate the need for chlorine. When I discussed reimbursement with the Mgr, it became heated and he HUNG UP ON ME!! I immediately sent another email and have NEVER heard from anyone again! I will never recommend them to anyone. The Mgr blamed my husband & me for NOT PLUGGING IN the Ionizer ourselves!! There was no plug coming from the Ionizer-it appears to be part of the pump/filter.

we purchased a 27 ft above ground swimming pool in 2007. We have had nothing but issues since. We explained we wanted salt water and we were installing a deck. They sold us a "salt water system", pool, filter and pump. We have already had to replace the filter with a sand one because the one they sold wasn't large enough to do it's job. We have already had to replace the "salt water system" because the one they sold the "cell" only last ONE season & MUST be replaced EVERY year if not more often, depending on the usage of the pool. NOW we are experiencing the piece that holds the liner up is rusting very rapidly, to the point it could give way at any moment. I contacted our LOCAL pool company to repair this cost is more than just replacing the pieces. Our liner is an "overlap" style which isn't replaceable if a deck is butted up to the pool. So for this repair we are looking at another expense of $1100.00 to replace liner to a "beaded" style and a beaded kit. Like I said we explained to our sales guy we were installing the deck, but I guess he got the sale. This is our 1st pool so we didn't know about all these things, we trusted him to help us make the RIGHT decision. Our decision to go with REC warehouse and save the $2000.00 is costing us more in the long run. I would NEVER purchase anything from REC Warehouse again. Our horrible experience was at the Virginia Beach, Va location.

After reading some negative reviews about RecW and hearing negative things about them from a local dealer I was almost afraid to shop them for a new spa. I am very glad to say my experience in their Pembroke Pines, FL store was absolutely wonderful. I spent several hours with Jason De Rosa wet testing their house brand and then the Caldera brand. All along the way he provided me lots of information about the differences between models and brands. I had not intended on buying a top of the line spa but after wet testing when I sat in the Caldera Geneva I quickly felt why they cost more. The spa fit like a glove and just felt right. That was Friday, they delivered the spa on Monday. The store manager Marcelo was particularly helpful with pricing and financing, the rest of the employees were all friendly and pleasant too. I would not hesitate to recommend them!

I had a problem with rec they told me that the evey day price on a spa cover is $349.00. when I ask for sale price it was 349.00. I told him that u said that was every day price and he said no he did not. I will never buy from them again. the poorest customer service ever.This was in greensboro nc the manager I talk to was Anthony Baker.

I also have had problem with Rec Warehouse, I pushase a above ground pool from them about two years ago valve over 5,000 dallor. I call them on December 7, 2009 about my pool motor running extremely loud. The Motor is still under warranty for five years. I can not get them to replace it, and they will not return my calls. This happen in the store in Macon Georgia. Can anybody help me with this problem with them. Larry Jordan (ljordan8184@windstream.net)

everything went wrong I would not buy anything from them very poor customer service manager does not care at all .once they get the sell thats it. please shop elese where! even if you have to spend more money it would be worth it.

They have a lot of stuff in here, Could of used more help on pools, and spas, they also seem to push you just a little, but all in all was a great place to go and find info out about pools and spas, JUst becarful thou, they have a lot of wires and cord on the floor so we were allways tripping over them other wise nice place, lots to pick from and they do know what they are talking about
