Great  5 Star Rating - World class

It may not be the greatest decorated place in the world, but the burgers are so good. The service is incredible, and the waitress are really nice. It is a great for the family and kids, I recommended it for everyone.

Great Burger!  4 Star Rating - Very good

If you are looking for a great burger then I highly recommend Abbey Road Tavern & Grilled. The burgers are big, messy, and delicious. We went on a Thursday night and not only was the burger and beer great, but so was the service!

Overrated  2 Star Rating - Wouldn't recommend

Start with the location, it was designed as a gas station, but never used as one.
Head inside to an uncharming and unimpressive bar area, down the hall to the unimpressive and uncharming back area. So if you are from out of town, don't bother going here. Only a local could love this place. And I'm one who doesn't.

Okay, so you hold out hope because people have told you that the food is great. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich, a rather easy dish. But I noticed the bun was absolutely not fresh made, rather quite stale, out of the bag for a few days. The only thing you can say is that they gave a huge portion, it actually was enough chicken for 2 sandwiches.

I'm not normally given to complaining about places, but I noticed that my friends recommendations seemed out of place with what I experienced and then strangely I was seeing these only accolades.

In the Cary area we have for a good burger: 5 Guys, Char-grill (the un-service burger place), Red Robin, Chili's, and many other restaurants with charming, weird, or standard dining areas. So Abbey Road has really nothing going for it except the inflated reviews which have already been spreading a false impression. Don't waste your money here. Let those who love it keep it in business.

Great Burgers  5 Star Rating - World class

I've only been here for burgers, but it is delicious. I'm not going to lie, I'm not a Beatles fan. I don't really care for all the Beatles decorations or anything. I'm there purely for the burgers. They are giant and juicy. I asked for a mix of the burgers and they didn't charge extra for it. The waitress was really nice and courteous. I had a good time and I was definitely full off of burger and fries.

Awesome burgers! 4 Star Rating - Very good

The burgers at this place are amazing and affordable. I tried Abbey Road last week for the first time and was extrememly impressed with the kindness of the staff and the great food, and best of all it was affordable. We had two burgers and a couple beers, and the bill was only 25.00, this would have easily cost close to 40.00 at Red Robin and the quality of the food at Abbey road is much better. Everything is fresh, the burgers are big and juicy, and fresh. Ranch dressing is to die for. Portions are huge so bring your appetite or prepare for left overs. I was so impressed last weekend, we decided to go again this weekend but the experience wasn't as good. The food was still great but this little place doesn't have the man power for large crowds. I recommend and early or late meal.

Pros: Great food, good price
Cons: Don't have the man power for busy hours

Best burgers in Triangle 5 Star Rating - World class

I frequent Abbey Road about 3 times a month and the burgers are amazing. What makes them better than others? - First of all they are made fresh and are not unthawed patties like most other places. Secondly when you ask for a burger medium - you get it medium!!! What a novel concept. Third, the lettuce, tomatoes and pickles used for toppings are fresh and make the burger much more flavorful. I recommend the Ringo with bacon for a burger. If your not in the mood for a burger than the ribeye steak sandwich is excellent. The beer is inexpensive relative to other places that I've been, they have a good beer selection and they actually have Labatt Blue on tap!!!!! Seating can be very tough to get especially on Fridays during dinner hours and the waiting area is very small so expect to stand if you don't get seating right away. I believe smoking is only allowed in the bar area as well. This is a great little authentic hometown bar/restaurant that can only be found here in the Triangle... its not found in 800 different other locations in the US. You won't find shrimp poppers, pizza shooters or extreme fajitas but what you will find is a great meal for a great price.

Pros: Awesome burgers, good beer selection
Cons: small waiting area

Terrible Service 1 Star Rating - Unsatisfactory

After all the positive postings it was a very disappointing experience. Not family oriented, sevice in the Bar area is non-existant. I had the worst wings I've ever had.

Pros: It wasn't crowded - go figure.
Cons: Service is awful

Juicy Burgers, lovely service, and Amazing Atmosphere 5 Star Rating - World class

There are not alot of places that you can get a combo of such wonder food and service. I was blown away when I took the first bite into my burger, it was so juicy, plump, and prepared wonderfully. It is an assemble-your-self burger, ya know, so all the stuff is on the side. WOW.. Just amazing. The service was great also, when they messed up on my side order, they prompting retrieved me the correct one and apologized for the inconviences. I actually got to talk with the staff, and it gave the place a more homely atmosphere. It wasn't another resturant where I was just a customer, I was some one of intersts here. And how can you not like the atmosphere. They have the Beatles and other amazing album covers, magazine cut outs, and pictures. It's comforting to know that the music legends of the past won't die out because of such a place like this.

Pros: Service, Food, Ambience is Nice
Cons: A little smokey when it is really busy

Yummy Burgers and Service is Adoring. 5 Star Rating - World class

I love Abbey Road, it's one of my favorite places to eat. The food is so good and unique plus they have more than just burgers. The walls are covered with so many records and posters from the past it's like leaving the 21st century for a little bit. I also love the people there, they are so nice, funny, and down to earth. My burger once wasn't cook enough for my tastes but they fixed it so fast and were so nice about it, that it wasn't that big of a deal. Abbey Road is def. my pick for a good, relaxed bite to eat.

Pros: Beer List, Good Burgers, Nice People
Cons: some smoke on busy nights
