Mitchell Anne Dvm - North Elm Animal Hospital

There is no praise high enough for the care given to pets at North Elm Animal Hospital. Our 12-year-old Lab Willie reached the point a couple of weeks ago when he was in pain and unable to walk or stand for long. We knew it was time to let him go. Dr. Anne Mitchell and two of her staff came to our house and gave him his last gift: freedom at last from his pain. And as others have noted, we received a thoughtful card from Dr. Mitchell with Willie's paw print enclosed, and later a notice from Morris Animal Foundation of her donation in Willie's memory. Our dog was able to be in one of his favorite spots, with us and our beagle mix beside him as we said our goodbyes to a good dog. It is sad to see our pets go, but we know that they enjoyed a good life while with us, and Dr. Mitchell and the others treated him with dignity and care.

I am so happy I switched vets. Dr. Mitchell couldn't have chosen a better career. This is her calling. Within a 6 month period, I had 2 pets that were old and had to be put down. I was very comforted by the card Dr. Mitchell took the time to write herself. About a week later I recieved a notification that a donation was made to a organizaton that researches animal diseases, such as cancer, diabetes, etc. in my dogp;s name. I was so touched by her kindness. In fact, she has a great staff. Everyone in this clinic seems to care about your pets. I would recommend this vet to everyone.

I loved that everyone who works at North Elm Animal Hospital loves animals! Everyone played with my dog and gushed about how cute she was, which made us feel great! They make everyone feel like they have the best pet ever! We adopted our pup from the Animal Shelter, and Claudia, the vet, was wonderful to our dog and to us!
