Beazer Homes is a great builder in the triangle. They have some of the most beautiful floor plans I have seen and are building a quality product with energy efficient materials. I encourage everyone to check them out first hand.

Beazer Homes is an unethical, deceitful company with no good intentions. I recently lost a significant amount of money doing business with Beazer Homes in Raleigh. I was purchasing a town house in the Pine Knoll community off Capital Blvd and Old Buffalo Rd. This is the community of town homes that recently burned down because of Beazer's choice to use inferior buliding materials. The sales agent lied to me about everything we agreed on during the day of contract. Nothing was followed through on, and my deposit was retained after the price agreed on was never reached. I was told during the day of contract that there would be no problem getting my deposit back if it during work out.

After researching the company I have found that they are being investigated by the SEC, IRS, FBI, and the US Attourney's Office for fraud and security issues. Also there are multiple class action cases against Beazer in North Carolina. One case is very unethical. Beazer was approving people for loans they could not afford and then foreclosing on them. Many cases are people that have been lied to and Beazer with-holding or presenting false information. Just google "Beazer, fraud" and you can easliy find many articles regarding fruad and Beazer Homes.

I had to learn the hard way about this corrupt, unethical company. Beazer Homes cannot be trusted and I will never do business with them again. If anyone has had similar experiences and would like to discuss a class action case against Beazer for giving misleading information and retaining deposits in the Pine Knoll community, I am currently speaking with a lawyer. I just want to warn people not to do business with Beazer Homes because they are an unethical company that will not hesitate to rip you off.
