When reading a review of business, you should look at dates of the reviews. If they are over a year old, I don't rely on them completely. I will call and to get a feel for the people who you communicate with. Additionally, people are opinionated so I want to form my own opinion before making a judgement.

was getting ready to purchase 2 XDs from them but after reading all this I will NOT give them my money...will find someplace else that has better customer service...thanks all that left comments!

After sinking into an unrecognizable morass of lousy service and rude employees, Davi's has closed its range. Too bad, because the physical facility was excellent.

Lousy management allowed rude employees to run away good paying customers. With the inflated prices for their goods and competition from other gun shops, look for their total demise in the near future.

First of all, she listed a couple of 1911 pistols on Guns America that I was interested in. She stated that she preferred to all inquiries by e-mail. So I complied, 3 days later, still no response. Tried calling, got hung up on the first time, as for the rest, the sales person was very helpful. But fearful should Ms. Davis find out he answered my question. Ms. Davis who apparently owns the business, seems to NEVER BE IN, so to purchase a firearm from her, is damn near an impossible task. I wanted the pistol bad, but not that bad to put up with all the SXXX to get it.

Do not recommend, highly unprofessional, and unsatisfied with Ms. Davis lack of response.

I, too, found the staff at Davi's to be rude and totally disinterested in their customers.

I wanted to buy a home protection firearm for my wife, and since Davi's is near my home, decided to shop there. After finding them less than cooperative, I bought a firearm that same afternoon at Dick's Sporting Goods, where they were very helpful and seemed genuinely happy to help.

Since Davi's is the only range close to my home, I decided to take my wife there to train her to use the new weapon. I also figured that maybe the rudeness we experienced earlier was a one-time anomaly. Oops! No such luck. We got our range cards and fired two boxes of ammunition... and will never return to this over-rated and understaffed business.

Davi's Indoor Range & Shooting Sports is a joke. Unfortunately it's not a funny joke. Their staff is rude and unprofessional. An example of that would be how 5 of their staff members were congrigated in the back by the gun rental counter talking very loudly about how drunk and hungover they were last weekend. Not one time did anyone ask if I could be helped. Just last week I thought I might give them another try and I was dissapointed again. I noticed that they had the new ruger lcp in and proceded to ask a sales associate if I may look at the gun; she told me that they didn't have that gun in yet. After I pointed out to her and the other sales associate with her that in fact they did have the gun, they told me that gun was the owners and I can't look at it. Thats no problem for me...just a little wierd. I was prepared to purchase at least two guns that day and I walked out with none. I will never buy anything from Davi's. It's just not worth it to me. If they are giving CRAP service before the sale I think I know what will happen after the sale. I wouldn't buy a hamburger from these clowns.

I go to Davi's all the time. The staff is friendly and very helpful and knowledgeable. Always willing to help. The range needs a little work, but it is a great place to practice and work on your guns. They even allow rifles, which is helpful in getting scopes sighted in before hunting season. Prices aren't far off from everyone else in the area unless you count gun shows, but gun shows are always cheaper. I highly reccomend Davi's.

Davi's has an indoor shooting range, one of the few in the Raleigh, NC area, which is why they probably stay in business. They also have a large selection of firearms. Their prices and high and their staff is rude. I have asked a staffperson to special order an item and never received a phone call or email. Their staff people ignore customers they don't want to work with, especially women, and actually roll their eyes at having to help you. I recommend any other stores besides Davi's.
