From the name and look, we thought it was an old train depot converted to a place where you play games. We found out the the term arcade in the early 1900's meant "mall". The architecture is beautiful. Eclectic grouping of shops on the inside and mainly dining on the outside store fronts. The second floor mezzanine area is apartments with an elevator in the middle of the arcade. It's worth the visit just for the historical aspect alone.

Very nice building with a variety of shops, restaurants, food markets, etc. located inside. Parking is hard to find most weekends, but it is something every tourist should check out. Prices vary from store to store, but you can usually find some interesting stuff!
