The dinner was fabulous my entree was a good price and a nice intimate relaxed atmosphere.
The next day i went back and had pizza from their pizza bar and that was delicious too!

Being in college, I have had my share of pizza, but none as good as what is to be found at That's Amore. The first time I tried their Roma Spinach Pizza, no amount of words could describe a single bite. The ambiance of the restaurant combined with the subtle music and social atmosphere makes for the perfect dining experience. I have eaten there for lunch and dinner, and have had a wonderful experience on all occasions. The pizza is so good, you will want to even eat the crust (which is a rarity for most pizzas). I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys great pizza.

I owe Amore's an apology. The first time I went there I thought the pizza was good but overpriced and complained rather loudly about it.

The next day, I went back to my normal pizza restaurant.... and realised I simply couldn't eat it. After Amore's there really was no going back. Now I gladly pay the extra 50 cents, walk more than a few extra blocks, and have simply wonderful lunches.

Their white pizza is wonderful, their Caprese is downright incredible (and I don't even like mushrooms --- it was so beautiful, I had to try it --- and now it's my favorite slice). I'm anxiously awaiting the return of their much famed eggplant pizza.

Great pizza. You can buy two slices and a drink for 3.99. They have a pool table and a lounge area. The music they play is great for just chilling with your friends.

Has decent beer specials and the staff is very friendly. I am actually going there for lunch because I have been dying to get over there. Once you go there you won't be able to stop.

There is no comparison between Amores and other pizza places in town! Perfect crust, the freshest ingredients, and friendly, fast service--even with many of their dishes being made-to-order. As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the fact that they will make a fresh pie at lunch if they are low on veggie selections. (Roma Spinach is too good for words!) The calzones and garlic knots are AMAZING, and the bar selection is great. When working, I will take clients here and they are always impressed--I especially love taking NYers, because they say its the best they've ever had outside of the city. They've even added an upstairs lounge for private parties or VIPs at special events--it has hip, modern decor with a TV, cool lighting and lots of seating. Amores is simply so much more than just your college pizza joint. TRY IT TODAY!

Pros: BEST pizza, calzones, service

Cons: ZERO

I've been reviewing restaurants for 28 years. I'm retired now but still find it hard not to speak my mind so now I do it for free! I gave Amores 5 stars. If it were in NYC I would have given it 4 based on competition being so strong that a 5 in NYC is unheard of. To start the crust was light and fluffy but thin and crisp which I have had the trouble of finding in the triangle. The sauce not to sweet but not bitter. Being in the industry for sooo long I could pick up on some of the products Amores uses and it was nothing but the best. I had a slice of cheese..which is always the way to go when first trying a new Pizzeria and the cheese was full of flavor not like a cheap processed cheese made up of mostly fillers which I have found at a majority of the pizzerias in Raleigh. Then I had a slice of Roma Spinach which was new to me but made me want to go for a third (which I didn't because my stomach would have exploded). The size of the slices where that of what i'm used to in Brooklyn. I tried the Pizza around the corner at I love NY pizza and i'll tell you NY would hate that pizza. To be far I tried in twice and am giving it one final shot before I make my offical review but the crust tasted like stale bread, the cheese was flavorless and the sauce tasted like nothing but garlic powder and oregano. Being the critic I am I have to try things for myself before I make an opinion so I ask you to do the same. That's Amore is the hidden gem of the Raleigh Pizza industry!

Pros: Makes it hard to eat pizza anywhere else in Raleigh

Cons: Hidden location...needs better visual from Hillsborough

Today I had Pepperoni Pizza and it was great. The service was fast I even left a tip. The staff was friendly and the resturant was relaxing. It was my first but not last time visiting Amore. Do not look any were else this is the place to be!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cons: Food and Service

This is a seriously authentic family owned Pizzaria. Also having some of the best deserts I've ever seen Not to mention the sandwiches/pastas are unbelievable!!! I so highly recommend this place that I drive the 20 min to Raleigh from Apex just for the food. Just when you thought that It could get no better Amore has done extensive renovations to created a new ambiance that goes above and beyond your typical pizza place. Adding a bar and a second floor this is truly the place to take a first date or just unwind with the girls or guys. You feel welcome from the moment you step in the door!!! Prices are very affordable, there are so many awesome things to say about his place, but don't take it from me PLEASE try it yourself!! You'll be so glad you did ---DJ ALLWAYZ

Pros: Ambiance, Food, Prices, Service, Great Family Owned Feel

Cons: No Cons This is the Place !!!!!!!

★☆☆☆☆

Amore's pizzeria is a horrible place to hang out. The service is bad, the pizza tastes disgusting, and it's way over priced. Do not go to this place if possible. There are plenty of other places to hangout on Hillsborough that are a much better place to chill.

Pros: It's on Hillsborough and there's other places to go

Cons: TOO MANY TO LIST
