My "child" is 9 years old and has been going to this clinic for nine years. There were points when I almost left, but then I was asked to give Dr. Herman a chance and I am glad I did. Since Dr. Herman has bought this clinic and turned it around I would NEVER dream of going anywhere else. Cheyenne does not care for doctor visits (who does?), but Dr. Herman and ALL of his staff make every effort to calm her down. They always come down to her level and talk to her for a few minutes so she will feel as comfortable as possible. Dr. Herman, without fail, always takes the time to talk with me - no matter how many questions or concerns I have; I wish MY doctors took that same time and had the compassion with me. Additionally, his staff has always been so friendly, nice and helpful. I can't say that enough. As long as I am remotely close to Charlotte, this is where I will take my child. I highly recommend Dr. Herman to anyone who needs a vet!

We moved from Pineville to the north side of Charlotte and love them so much we drive 30 miles to take our pets to them. Wouldn't trust our pets with anyone else.

There are no words to express the wonderful experience I had with South Charlotte Animal Hospital. I was referred to them in regard to a situation with my son's Golden Retriever "Buddy". They were so wonderful, compassionate and caring and they helped us through a rough situation. They are truly the BEST and I would recommend them to everyone who has a pet they truly love and want the best care for.......P.S. Cheryl-Anne and Dr. Herman have put their heart and soul into decorating their animal hospital to make you feel welcome when you walk through the door and in addition it is spotlessly clean.....what more could you ask for ?

Been going here for years. Took care of my elderly dog until his time came. And then they were so caring! These are just great people. Now, I have my other dog going there and he loves it. When he gets there he runs to the back to be boarded

We LOVE South Charlotte Animal Hospital. Our family has 5 pets, and only trust them with Dr. Herman. Unfortunately, we had to move out of state and that was a huge upset for us to lose having them right around the corner. The entire staff is completely dedicated to it's clients and making sure that the animals and their owners are well taken care of. We have found an emergency vet locally but still trust our babies normal routine care with South Charlotte Animal Hospital only and try to schedule checkups while in town visiting. I also call with any concerns or questions and always get responses asap. Anytime I hear of someone looking for a good vet in Charlotte, I jump to tell them about Dr. Herman and his personable staff. We miss them so much!!!

Dr. Herman and his staff not only know how to care for and treat our family pet, but are also very people-friendly!! The hospital is very clean and nice and the staff are always available to answer questions. I completely trust South Charlotte Animal Hospital and would recommend it to everyone!

Our experience with South Charlotte Animal Hospital has been excellent. The staff is friendly and efficient and Dr. Herman demonstrates a professional "bedside manner" while making you and your pet feel like the center of attention. We can follow our pets health record online and are kept informed via regular e mail reminders from the hospital. We have utilized the boarding service several times and have been pleased with how our pet was treated and taken care of. We highly recommend South Charlotte Animal Hospital for all of your pet care needs.

At South Charlotte Animal Hospital I feel that my old girl gets the very best care and I know because she has been to visit Dr Herman more then the average dog. Dr Herman is very knowledgeable and takes the time to explain test results, treatment options, preventive medicine, etc. The entire staff are kind and caring professionals and they go out of their way to provide excellent customer service. They researched all the options for Sydney's medications to make sure I got the best possible value. I have recommended South Charlotte Animal Hospital to many friends. Come, Stay, Heal you won't be disappointed.

Everyone at South Charlotte Animal Hospital treats ALL of us like family. I can always count on a friendly voice to answer the phone to begin any interaction. A visit to the office means first rate care for our dogs, Mya and Mason, and first rate explanations for us from the beginning to the end of any visit. We have experienced routine appointments as well as more serious circumstances and in every instance have received top notch personal care. I would recommend SCAH to anyone who has a pet that they love like part of their family and wish for them to be cared for just as importantly.

I was very impressed with South Charlotte Animal Hospital. The facilities were very clean and the employees were friendly. they even took the time to call me a few days after my visit to see if my puppy was doing better. Dr. Herman was very confident in his work and explained everything he was doing so that I could understand.I would highly recommend South Charlotte Animal hospital for all your pets needs.

South Charlotte Animal Hospital is the sweetest, safest, swankiest animal hospital around! Our baby (min pin) Kean is a true handful and Dr. Herman and his staff have always welcomed us with open arms. About two years ago Kean was suddenly and mysteriously paralyzed and, after given little hope for his recovery from our usual vet, we turned to Dr. Herman for help. With his advice we gave him some extra time to recover and, sure enough, he pulled through and is bouncing around today at 10 years old like an (almost) pup again! Kean has been a proud patient of SCAH ever since and we are so grateful to have a vet that we can trust explicitly. A truly warm, wonderful experience, South Charlotte Animal Hospital is the place to bring your little furry friends!

South Charlotte Animal Hospital is THE place to take your fur children. We have 6 pets....Two Rhodesian Ridgebacks, three cats and one Amazon parrot. Dr. Herman and his team truly treat their patients like their own. We were impressed by the personal care that is brought to each appointment. He greets his clients in the waiting room as well as provides immediate follow up via phone/email when needed. Dr. Herman is sure to develop a loyal following because he takes the time and patience to listen to the issues. Finally, the facility is comfortable, clean and easy to access. We absolutely recommend South Charlotte Animal Hospital to our neighbors and friends who are looking for a personal and caring experience for their pets.

We have an outdoor cat named George, who disappeared for a few days. Yesterday our neighbor stopped by and told us she had been feeding him, and he was in rough shape. Seemed he was in a fight with another cat and didn't do too good. We were finally able to catch George and bring him in for an examination. The staff at South Charlotte Animal Hospital were very caring and professional in their handling of George. They treated him as if he were their own pet and took care of him as soon as we waked in. Although he has some recovery time in front of him, I know he is going to be ok. Thank you to Dr. Michale Herman and his staff. They are a great group of professional who take the time to go over all your questions. I would recommend this group to anyone.

South Charlotte Animal Hospital gets a huge thumbs up from us. We love the care and attention given to our pet not just by Dr. Herman but by the entire staff. Whenever we have cat-related questions we know that our phone call and concerns will be taken seriously. They really make you feel like your pet is the most important patient they have!

You NEED to go to this vet! Dr. Herman is wonderful, the staff are fantastic and the hospital is newly renovated (The name is changed to South Charlotte Animal Hospital now) after Dr. Herman purchased the hospital last year. It is now such a pleasure to visit. Dr. H's attention to detail and keen skill makes this a can't miss place for your pets. I feel at total ease knowing Dr. Herman and his staff are always there when I need them.
