Great dreary day fun  4 Star Rating - Very good

I took my son on a Friday afternoon after school. It had been raining for days -- and it was cold outside. What a great place to burn off some energy and have a little fun. In addition to the skating, they have a snack bar and a game area.

Fun place to hang out  5 Star Rating - World class

By Cathleen R. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 801

If you enjoy skating, or even if you don't, this is a fun place to go with a group of friends. Good music, games, and a cheap way to have a good time.

Fun for the family!  4 Star Rating - Very good

By Tamara H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 7,572

Try Jellybeans Skate Center--take the whole family skating! The rink is clean and fun. They have skates (traditional and roller blades) in every size. Our whole family likes to skate, even the three year old can do it. It's not bad exercise. They also have fun birthday parties! There is a snack bar with rather mediocre food, but nice if you just need a drink.

Best skate experience for kids  4 Star Rating - Very good

By Christy B. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,470

Jellybeans has two locations--one in Cary (off Buck Jones Road) and the other in Raleigh (near the new Wakefield development). They offer after-school skate programs for kids, birthday parties, and you can even rent the skate location for a special event. Prices are reasonable, and there are lots of concessions for sale (popcorn, candy, chips and nachos, soft drinks, etc.). There's a game room (arcade) and booths to sit and take a break from skating. Good experience for kids and parents alike.
