With a holier than thou attitude this one dentist whom you would know if you seen her,(short ,blond-hair,German or Austrian accent), thinks shes god.
I needed a referral for an oral surgeon, my wife called this dentist because they are in our Insurance network.
I have 2 teeth that are abscessed but a total of 4 which need to be extracted and a partial put in.
She prescribed penicillin for the infection and for pain she wrote a prescription for ,COUNT' EM 8 Tylenol 3 . The pain is so intense that I have been taking between 8 to 12 over the counter extra strength Tylenol just to get a little relief. This much Tylenol at one time every 4 to 6 hours will destroy your liver. It will take at a minimum 4 days for the infection to start going down but even still the pain doesn't go away immediately and yet 8 Tylenol #3 are supposed to last you 4 to 6 days?
Anyone who has taken Tylenol #3 for pain knows that one pill doesn't give relief all day, a couple of hours maybe but not all day! (There is more to this story and I will complete this review after I go to the oral surgeon and have these teeth removed.)
I am changing Dentists though because I'm not giving them another dime for such poor service.(It's not all just about the pain medication, I can't go into right now)
Trust me, you are paying for a service, whether your Insurance Company pays most of it or coming straight out of your pocket, that dentist or whoever is there to serve you.

Jan. 22, 2007 I was seen at Lane and Assoc. where I purchased/paid in full for an immediate set of dentures (meaning for an additional charge of 950.00 over the already standard charges). Immediate meaning I would be fitted for and receive my dentures in 10 days. On Feb. 12th, the dentures arrived but were not sized correctly so were sent back to an outside lab for another fitting. Note: these teeth were paid for as immediate. On March 9th, I returned to the office to be told after an hour and an half of waiting that the wrong set had been sent, the dentures still were not available. It has been nearly 2 months...my insurance company (Cigna) and myself have paid for these dentures in full at three times the regular rate (for a total of 2077.00) and I have driven over 240 miles total time for teeth that I was billed for, paid for to be immediate (10 days). The staff have been rude and unaccommadating about offering a refund or discount of any sort. I have paid outrageous money for dentures I have not received. I am also notifying my insurance company of potential insurance fraud in that Lane & Associates have been paid for services not rendered and for immediate service charges not rendered (as defined by 8 weeks of waiting instead of 10 days).
