I ordered today for delivery to our business. Simply salsa, chips and guacamole. I got a small bag of chips and two of the tiniest condiment cups, one with salsa and one with guac. I don't know how they expect someone to stretch chips

I ordered my meal. The lady ringing me up who hardly spoke English was taking a long time to process my credit card for under $10. I waited and waited, even asked if everything was okay, and she in 3 words reassured me that "yes, take long". Finally it went through. My meal was okay, not impressed but it wasn't the worst. The organization tactics they have is not the smoothest, not to mention the place is tiny. The next morning I check my bank account online to find that the lady ran my credit card 3 times the amount. I call them up to inform them, and Luis said if I were to run to the store, he'd be able to fix it fast.

I had a few minutes before I had to get to work, so I waited on line and when I got to Luis, he phones another manager at another location. That manager then insists that I go home, print out proof from my bank account. I had already mentioned I can pull my bank account on my phone. I told him I wasn't leaving and come back for a THIRD time since this was their problem. After convincing them of their problem, he handed me my money in cash. For what it's worth - I'm never going back there again.

Pros: salsa

Cons: disorganized, food falls apart on plate, barely any chips

.

This is one of my favorite places to go to lunch! The steak quesadilla is addicting. And the salsa is very good.

My husband and I have been eating at Salsa Fresh for many years. We love the food, the service is fast and everyone that works there is great. My kids especially love the quesadillas. A definite inexpensive dining option for the family

Great quesidillas, best pico de gallo I've tried anywhere. We have also been pleased with the vegetarian burritos, rice and black beans. We used to visit weekly, but the Morrisville location is closer and we now go there unless we're near Duraleigh for some reason (Carolina Hurricanes hockey!)

Several people seem unhappy about the limited number of high chairs. Our solution was to buy a portable booster and keep it in the trunk. It was inexpensive and we knew our child would always have somewhere to sit. (Conveniently our elder child outgrew the portable booster before our second child needed it.) Why let a lack of high chairs limit your choices? The Morrisville location has some booths and lower chairs, it's more kid friendly in that regard although they also have just two high chairs.

I now live in MD but I used to work at Kroger at the corner of Creedmoor and Strickland Roads. We would get Salsa Fresh at least once a week. I love there shrimp tacos! Chips salsa and guacamole were a staple also. The staff is friendly and the prices a cheap for the quality of food. I love this place and when I visit NC I try to stop in and get my Salsa Fresh fix!

Love, love, love this place!!! I've only tried the chicken tacos so far and they were amazing. I loved their salsa, too, it's so tasty, fresh and delicious, and far better than any other salsa I've had around here. I'm glad I found this place! Oh and the guacamole was good also!

I'd say the chips were bland and the salsa was OK. Lots of choices of salsa that was merely OK, but none of them knocked my socks off. I felt like the "chip salsa" was made about an hour before it was served. It tasted "fresh" all right - so fresh it tasted like tomato and onion salad. I had the Nachos with black beans and added chicken. All I can say about this concoction is that it was DRY. Really, nachos need a little more wet ingredients to make them good, and this dish needed queso sauce and lacked it. Since the chips are only OK to start, and they had only dry shredded cheese and black beans, with a dollop each of guacomole and sour cream, it was just a dry mess, and the tomatoe and onion salad that should have made it bearable didn't, b/c it just wasn't that good. I think I'll try it again and this time I'll try the burrito my friend had and hope they make the salsa the night before so the flavors have time to marry. Some things shouldn't be too "fresh".

Love it! I'm from California and find this is the closest thing I can find to what I'm used to. The salsa is great and the tamales are wonderful. The prices are reasonable, too! I just wish they'd take the offensive sign at the salsa bar down. That's really my only complaint, but otherwise people are friendly and the food tastes great!

Pros: Awesome flavors and great salsa

Cons: the building could use a little face lift to improve the overall ambience and the shrimp in the shrimp tacos could be better.

.

I love their burritos. They are good and cheap compared to the yuppy box up the street, Chipotle's.

I love this place. The location on Duraleigh is convenient to both my home and office and is, without a doubt, the best California-eqsue Mexican food. It's not heavy nor greasy yet extremely flavourful and filling. I can eat here and I don't feel guilty afterwards. And they're not afraid to use Cilantro like a few Mexican restaurants I've visited. They cook your order as your order it; none of that pre-made and heated junk, so it truly is fresh when you get it! The staff is very friendly as well!

The atmosphere is very bland. In Morrisville there are only two high chairs for our kids and we've had to LEAVE twice because they were taken. The management seems not to care. The food is awesome but come on people - buy more highchairs - people have babies and they need to eat!!!!!!

This place has great California Mexican food. I loved the food at the N. Raleigh location, so I was sooooooo excited when they opened the Morrisville location b/c now I can go there for lunch. I like the atmosphere of the Morrisville location, too. I feel like I'm in Redondo Beach every time I go there.

Well, I have NO idea if Salsa Fresh in Morrisville is good or not. I used to go to Salsa Fresh in Raleigh all the time when I lived close by. And I was SO excited about a location close to me now!! But when I got there... there were TWO, YES COUNT THEM TWO high chairs in the whole restaurant. So, I had to leave. I can't hold my toddler and my baby and feed them and myself at the same time.

Won't be going back.

My visit to this restaurant hit the spot when I was hungry yet craving something lite and fresh. The service was friendly and orderly and the food was reasonably priced. The portion was larger that expected. Loved the self-service salsa bar. Warning: the chip salsa dip is extremely HOT!

This activates all of your taste buds. I recommend the chicken taquatia's and great nachos. You should also try their newest salsa it has black specs in it and is very different from the norm. We always get takeout from here. Not a place to take your new boy/girl friend on a date but great for a quick bite at lunch. P.S. try the quesdia too.

Pros: Fresh Salsa, Everything is fresh, Inexpensive and quick

Cons: Not for steak lover's, Chicken instead

Fast service and delicious food--Salsa Fresh is not greasy like the usual Mexican/Tex-Mex establishments. Be sure to try the enchilada-style burritos or the quesadillas. Casual, clean, unpretentious, and VERY tasty! Doug, manager of the Strickland Rd. location, is very friendly, helpful, and informative.

Great "upscale fast food." The food is standard TexMex fare: big burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, and tacos. It's almost identical to the Baja Fresh chain, but has much better salsa.

Plus they'll treat your burritos in two awesome different ways: Enchilada style, with melted cheese and sauce, and Chimichanga style, which is fried with a side of guacamole.

Just remember to bring cash. No credit cards.

The burritos here are not too shabby, but not spectacular, either. I like the salsa choices, but wish the hot, red one was chunkier. The chicken is grilled fresh, though, and quality is consistent. I eat here regularly (maybe twice a month).

This was the blandest, most horrible faux Mexican food I've ever had.
It claims to be "Californian Mexican" but it is not - I'm not sure what it is but it is barely edible.
There is absolutely nothing good about it.
Don't go here.
Ever.

O.K. It might be cheap, but it's not that great. The salsa has no flavor at all. It tastes like over-ripened (rotten) tomatoes. The chips were the best out of all the things I ordered, but what good are chips without salsa?
