I joined insiderpages just to write this review. When I Googled Archdale to find the address, this page was pulled up and I decided to read it. I am very angry that people would actually believe that Dr. George leaves patients on the operating table in order to go see another patient. I know first-hand that Dr. George DOES NOT do this! I WORKED with Dr. George for over a year and now he is my only choice for my dog. Dr. George is very thorough, he DOES wear scrubs and a gown for his surgeries and he is GOOD at what he does! The only reason I stopped working for him was because I went back to teaching. Yes, the building is old and dirty looking--IT"S AN OLD BUILDING! I promise you it is NOT dirty inside. The employees sweet and mop every day before closing and sweep and mop ANY messes throughout the day. Hello! Not only is that a courtesy to customers, it is crucial to keeping germs, viruses, bacteria etc. from being spread all around the hospital and to other animals. Whoever is not pleased with Archdale Animal Hospital has an unworthy opinion.
Do not use Dr. George!! This clinic regularly leaves animals with open incisions under anesthesia on the operating table while the doctor sees appointments!! This is a poor quality of medicine and they charge full price anyway! Don't risk your pets life with this clinic.
I was shocked to read the "Terrible Practice" review written about Dr. George. He must have the wrong doctor! Dr. George has always been thorough and takes time to answer any questions or concerns. We had a Chocolate Lab who saw Dr. George since he was 8 weeks until we had to put him down when he was 14 b/c of cancer. Now, I hear Dr. George telling our new puppy stories about our Lab while he's examining her. He is the perfect vet for our family!!!
Pros: Wonderful with pets, very thorough, kind, convenient hours &
Cons: Not close to my house
This doctor regularly leaves animals with open incisions on the surgery table to go see an appointment for as long as it takes until he's done. Never scrubs in for surgery or uses a gown. Dr George is a risk you should never take with your pet.
Dr. George really gave my cat the personal attention he needed after an accident happened.
He also took the time to personal find any other problems the cat had, which he did! He had a cold. I would recommend Dr. George and his knowledgeable staff to everyone.
Pros: Example: best croissants in town
Cons: What are the drawbacks?
Dr. George & staff are extremely caring and loving toward my pets. The office is clean, friendly, timely and extremely reasonably priced. My dog loves going to see Dr. George and I feel 100% comfortable taking her to him! I HIGHLY recommend!
Pros: affordable, friendly, caring
