Alston Bridges has the best BBQ of anywhere. They have a variety of other foods as well. Their hushpuppies are out of this world. My family used to live in Shelby and moved away and every time they come to visit we have to eat at Alston Bridges. They also have GREAT Sweet tea. It is just a good place to eat.
