we noticed a huge lump on our german sheperds face/jaw area on a saturday morning, called new hope at 11am and they were ready to take care of him even thought they closed at 12.very impressed with the care they took with our pup milo.price is usually never an issue with pets as they are an extended part of our family, with the visit, shaving him to find the issue and his meds come to 104 bucks...extremely impressed with my whole experience,i will definitely be taking all three of my dogs there in the future. oh by the way it was a small snake bite that caused the swelling.

hi... i've never written a review, but i've recommended Dr. Windram and his team at New Hope Animal Hospital to people for years, and i want everyone to know how great i think they are. i'm pretty picky, and i took my cat to several other vets and didn't feel great about them... once i found Soren Windram and NHAH, I'm never going to another vet again! He remembers me, what i do, and my pet's name, which is way more than other vets have done. he's also very good about telling you what your options are when your pet is sick and being very caring yet easy to understand. he never pushes expensive treatments if he doesn't think your pet needs them, and the whole team at NHAH is amazing. they put me AND my pet to ease. i took my cat to NHAH for years, and Soren was so kind when i had to euthanize my cat and i was a wreck. after my cat died, i swore i'd never have another pet, but then i rescued a dog almost a year later. the whole team there (anne, heather, soren) know my dog's name, comment on how much better she is, and always presents me with all my options so i can make an informed decision.

something i think readers will be interested in: Dr Windram used to run the TPETS emergency room (which is how i met him), so he is very well versed in emergency situations.

no, i'm not being paid or otherwise encouraged to write... i just really think the world of them, and if they moved away, i would be hard pressed to ever find another vet i'd like half as much. i trust them with my pet, which is hard for an owner to do, but i know they're at the top of their game, and wish all people with pets who aren't happy with their vet to check them out!

Pros: kind, presents options, knowledgable, professional

Cons: none! other than i wish they could be open 24/7!

I shopped around and these folks truly are the best. Not only is the care cost-effective, but they let the animals out six times a day. All other kennels let the animals out only 2-3 times a day. I highly recommend this facility. New users should be aware, however, that they have a $25 deposit per animal that is forfeited if you cancel care altogether. The kennel is flexible with days, however. Thus, you would probably be better off boarding a pet for a couple of days and enjoying a break rather than cancelling and losing your money.

The kennel books up very fast, especially in the summer.

I brought my two dogs and a cat here for three years and had nothing but outstanding care. They provide great care for routine check-ups and emergencies. I once had to bring in my dog for emergency care, and Dr. Windram's bedside manner was truly comforting . He took the extra time to explain exactly what was happening medically, what kinds of tests were being done and why, and helped me focus on the positive rather than just despairing. Another time I took in a very sick 5-week-old foster kitten and again they were amazing and went "above and beyond." The technicians actually took turns holding the kitten with a hot water balloon all day just to keep it warm! Even now that I've moved, they are helpful with sending records. They truly do outstanding work and care about animals.

Cons: None

The greatest group of veterinarians and staff around. They are not out to run up the cost of your vet bill, but they are ALL about quality care for you pets and the owners. They are attentive to owner concerns and really treat each pet like a member of the family.

I met Ann the Vet technician at a animal rescue fair. I told her about the dog I rescued and she was very helpful with what I would need to start the dogs examsand also gave me an approx cost. I brought the dog a few days later and they were through and very efficient and friendly. I plan on bringing my own dogs and cats to the New Hope Animal Hospital. The cost was reasonable.

These have to be some of the nicest and most caring group of people I have ever taken my dog to visit. They not only care about the pets, they also care about the pet owners. My puppy got into some chemicals and became very ill. These doctors not only took care of her, they took care of my daughter and me as well. They even called after we took her home to make sure that everything was fine. One great group of veterinarians here!!!

If my roommate and I could choose a new doctor we'd choose our dog's vet at New Hope Animal Hospital. I'm not exaggerating. Not only do we trust the vets at New Hope with our dog Maxx, we'd trust them with our lives. These people REALLY care about their clients and have a superb bedside manner. They're not any more expensive than any other animal clinic and they go out of their way to make sure you as a pet owner are very well informed about your best friend's health. They're even patient with phone calls. "My dog's stomach sounds like a video game right now. I'm worried he might be sick..." They understand what it's like to have a furry family member and will do everything they can to care for your pet and reassure you of your capabilities as its companion.
