My daughter and I have been coming to this salon for nearly 2 years and we just enjoy Trent and Eve. She gets a sassy haircut and I get my roots touched up w/ whatever highlights she suggests. These 2 are very consistent and the salon in a whole is great. We feel at home here.

I have been to this salon 3 or 4 times and I truly enjoy it. I always call last minute to come in on a sunday. I get highlights and a cute bob. I have had trent eve and daniel. I trust whomever is working because they keep notes about my colors. I am pretty easy to please but i do want my moneys worth and i feel like it is well spent here.

I hopped from salon to salon until Juli Freeze cut and colored my hair 3 years ago. She is a keeper! My hair always looks and feels so glamorous after a visit to Juli! She always helps me achieve the look I am going without charging the sky-high prices like most high-quality salons in Charlotte . Her attention to detail and styling skills will keep you coming back!!!

My daughter lives here in charlotte and when I visit we always go to visit Julie and Eve. This has been a tradition for about 3years. Lunch and get our hair done. I made a last minute trip down and we couldn't get in with either stylist that we wanted but Eve assured me that I would love Jay. So I trusted her word and she was so right. He gives the best head massage I have ever had and I have been to alot of salons. He is a sweet boy and made me feel important. So now I have 3 choices and I couldn't be happier.

I really enjoyed my whole experience at this salon. I requested a same day appointment and my appointment began on time and was finished in less than 1.5 hours. Mackenzie was great. I was not exactly sure what I wanted and she did a great job of helping me narrow it down. It looked exactly how I thought it would. I originally had dark brown hair and went with some warm blonde highlights. The cut was SUPER! I really can't think of one negative thing to say! I would definitely ask for Mackenzie.

I have been to lisa a few times and this past time had a keratin straightening done.She really sold me on this.I literally had fuzz on my head and now its straight and soft.I keep running my hands through it.Her cuts are also great.thank you lisa

I love this place!!! I am a very picky person when it comes to me hair, like most women. I have posted a review about this salon before but I am going to do it again! Still the best service and staff I have experienced. Eve is amazing, she always understands what I am looking for when i go in for a service. I have taken friends there with nightmare hair who have left looking completely renewed and gorgeous!!! You won't go wrong with Eve!!

I needed a quick color refresher and contacted the color expert salon. The salon stated that their styists were booked for the day but the manager Eve, whom does not do hair regularly, took care of me that day. My hair looks fabulous. I am from Pennsylvania and it is difficult to get a cutting edge look. She took the time to listen about my previous hair stylists, what I liked and disliked, and she offered many suggestions. At this salon they promise a personalized hairstyle and they delivered. If only they could franchise one up north along with some of their experts! This is the place to go.

The first time I went to Hair Color Xperts - I loved it. Great service and I liked the color. It was very natural. Now I realize that the highlights were only good because the stylist followed followed what was previously done(at a different salon). My second visit did not go so great. Now, my highlights are unnatural blond. The color is about 3-4 times lighter than anything I would ever wear. When I called to see if it could be fixed, the stylist was out on vacation and they could not accomdate me to fit with another stylist. "Sorry" is the best you'll hear from Hair Color Xperts.

Daniel has been my stylist for several years now. I can't say enough wonderful things about him. At the time of my appointment, he is always focused on me. I trust him completely to come up with my current style and highlights. His speciality is highlights. Daniel takes a lot of care to make sure that my blonde highlights are always just right.

If you are in need of a stylist, I highly recommend Daniel. He is talented, professional and cares about his work.

I went to Jay months ago as a model for a class he was doing for highlights and have been back to him a few times since. He is very talented and detail oriented. I have sent a few friends to him and they liked him too. What really stood out was how much he likes what he does. His coworkers all greeted me as they walked by and that made me feel really good. I recommend Jay to anyone.

Recently moved here from upstate NY with my family. I was at the wine store and walked by the salon. I noticed they had my favorite hairspray so I went in to buy it and I met Trent. He complimented my hair and said he also liked that hairspray. I went home and 2 weeks later I looked the salon up and there was Trents name w/alot of good reviews. It was fun to piece it all together. I decided to go to him for my color and haircut last week. My hair and Trent are perfect! I just love him. What pride he has and he very well should be proud. I am so happy.

I really needed to get my hair cut soon, I had been putting it off for a while because I've tried 3 stylist down here and have been disappointed almost every time. I talked to Jenny on the phone and she said she could do my hair the next morning. WHAT A MISTAKE. When I got there she was very unprofessional, she was wearing a tshirt with guns on it? Every one else was dressed nice, it just seems out of place. She didn't have any input on what I wanted even when I asked her what she though. I got a cut and color, I requested that we cover all the red I had in my hair I wanted it dark brown. She smothered my hair with the dye, like literally I was just waiting for it to drip off, I have never had anyone do such a messing job putting color in my hair before.

So moving along she then washed it out..... but hardly when I got in the car on my way home I realized she didn't even rinse all of the dye off of my hair line AND I had a big chunk of it in my ear. Luckily it didn't get on my clothes or else I would have been very mad.

I wanted a trim, my hair was a little uneven so I wanted her to even it out a little bit. All she did was literally cut straight across the back of my neck with the scissors, she didn't trim the other layers of my hair? It looked OK but honestly I felt like I was a 5 years old getting a trim from my mother.

It was obvious to me that she does not like what she is doing, she's just going through the routine to get a paycheck.

I think that the staff is very knowledgeable, but I just felt like the place was a little stuffy and the receptionist really did not know very much and was a bit snotty.

My husband and I go to Daniel at this salon. I get a highlight and haircut. It took months of begging my husband to spend the extra $5 to get a nice haircut for himself. I have been very pleased with Daniel, but my husband can't get over the difference in his hair. He actually likes to style it before work now. Daniel thank you for making my husband look like he did when I married him...well considering its been 12 years.

Hair Color Xperts did a great job on coloring my hair. I had to get this grey out of my hair so my kids can stop saying I look old. My hair now makes me look 10 years younger. Thanks Hair Color.

I love me hair. I am that girl that never takes risks with her appearance, but I lost alot of weight and ditched my loser man and I decided to take the risk. All I did was look for weeks at peoples hair until I saw the look I wanted. She wrote down 3 names along with this salons name. I begged her to tell me which one was better and she said that all 3 did her hair depending on her schedule. I went with fate and called and took whichever person I got. Her name is Julie and she was great. She modified the look according to my hair type but I can't tell anyone enough about her. She just nailed it.

This salon was my second in 48 hours. You may find my bad review about another salon on here. This was no joke. I walked in to this salon because I had no choice on a sunday after having my hair ruined the night before. I just wanted someone to tell me what to do with it. The desk girl brought eve up and she pretty much told me I was in for a few months of repairing and she was willing to help me there. I just spilled my guts about how this other salon was horrible and it cost alot. She let me vent and all she could say was, well I deal with this situation all the time and if you trust me then lets start today on getting you a pretty color and treatment. I was kinda bummed because I wanted her to share in my anger, but she didn't even say a bad thing about the other salon. Long story short, that day I left a light brown and i went back recently for a treatment and she was so proud of my at home care that she felt it was safe to start getting me blonde again. I was hoping she would say that, but i wasn't going to push my luck. So I am on the right track now. I did ask her why she never pushed the other salon subject and if you ever met eve her answer made sense. She said we all mess up but if i did that to someones hair then i would quit and find a new job. and i think she really would. she and the others there are so nice to me and i can't thank her enough.

I just moved to Charlotte, and the first thing I looked for when i got here was somewhere to get my hair done. I looked at several places and decided to try out hair color xperts. Before I moved here I decided to color my hair all over dark when I am naturally a blonde. I wanted to go back blonde again when i moved to charlotte but was very nervous about finding someone who would be able to do it right. When I came to hair color xperts I was so comfortable from the moment I walked in to the moment i left. I went to leslie and she listened to everything I had expressed to her about being a blonde. She told me all my options and not only listened to what I wanted but also gave me opinions of what she thought would compliment me overall. She made me comfortable and confident. She really made me feel important! I loved the results and I will definatly be back. From the color, cut and the friendly environment I will definatly be back!

I went to sally's supply store and bought some bleach and tried to foil my own hair. It wasn't too hard to do but I ended up with polka dots throughout my hair. I then tried to fix it with another color and that made it worse. I relied on the reviews here so I went to this salon. I walked right in and the manager greeted me and took me right back to Taylors chair. They both discussed what could be done and they even considered my budget. I felt very comfortable and they told me they had fixed alot worse which was a relief. I can't even tell you how amazed I was with the results. Taylor kept me a soft blonde and made the polka dots go away and jay cut my hair. Although money is tight I will make room in my budget to return to this salon. From beginning to end it was a great experience. I forgot the managers name but thank you for taking care of me the same day.

I asked specifically for platinum blonde highlights around the crown of my head, as my hair is naturally blonde around the front. I ended up with darker hair than I had originally. My natural blonde got covered with a 'chestnut' color, and the rest looks like gold-bronze zebra streaks. If the hair people would chatter less about their personal lives, and concentrate on the job they're doing, they wouldn't waste $110 of my money. I am now on a search for a colorist who can at least give me back what I had before hair"EXPERTS" ruined it.

I do have pretty nice hair and I was really nervous to have someone new color it. I was used to the same hairstylist for 5 years. I went here and to another salon for consultations only. I ended up picking this salon based on juli's experience and her ideas for my cut. Although I kept the color the same, I let her play with the cut. I love it. I can't say how happy I am with it. She really took her time and the color matched too. I would recommend this salon.

I turned my hair a funny orange color at home and tried to fix it myself 2 times after that. Obviously I had to get some help. I called a few salons based on the reviews on here and after getting the run around about prices and put on hold for minutes at a time, I finally called this salon. They put the manager on the phone quickly as if this was a common thing to them. She told me to stop in and have her look at it and we would discuss everything from there. I went in that day and was told its fixable and 3 hours later I had pretty much what I was trying to get at home. She made it quite clear that it would take a few times to get me to blonde safely. And I had to promise to not color it at home in the mean time. Ask Eve and Lisa about me...the girl that dragged in her empty loreal boxes. Honestly they helped me out.

I went to this salon a few months ago based on the reviews. I went back last week for my 2nd visit. I had Juli the 1st time and Jenny the 2nd time. I was very pleased both times and was glad they kept track of the color used. It is very hard to find a salon open on Sundays and thats a bonus for me with my work schedule/family.

The reviews on here could not be real. This was the worst experience of color I have ever had. After moving to charlotte, and speaking to other women who have had highlight disasters and color botch jobs this is not a place for people who have had color for years. Don;t go!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My highlights were terreble and after 2 trips back I would never recommend this salon to anyone.

I was blond for many years and one day I thought I'd try to be brown. Just thought I needed a change. Sometimes change isn't always good. I hated my hair brown. I've been to several supposed top notch salons in Charlotte and can I just say they do not meet the top notch status and the customer service was horrible. None of them were able to get my hair blond again. It was always this yucky brassy color. I did some research and based on the reviews I read about haircolorxperts I thought I'd give them a try. Thank god I decided to do that. I'm blond once again! YAY!! Trent was my stylist there. He was very professional and took time to explain to me the process it would take to get me back there. He did not try to change my hair all at once but we did it in stages. He was very honest with me and considered what my hair had been through with these other salons. I'm so glad we took it slow. Now I have blond healthy hair. I couldn't be happier. If you guys are tired of stylists not listening to you then give Trent/Haircolorxperts a call. Thanks again Trent for doing such an amazing job.

I travel alot for work and happened upon Jenny at HaircolorXperts on a business trip two months ago. I was nervous to get my hair done by someone new but it was an emergency. She gave me an amazing cut and showed me the products I need for my hair. I recently moved to the area and decided to give her a try with my color. Again she did an amaxing job;even changed it a little . I don't ordinarily like change but this was definitely for the better! Everyone in the salon was very helpful from the time I checked in to the time I checked out. I was very impressed with everything there.

I ruined my hair at home trying to save time and money. It turned orangish/pink in areas, but really muddy on the ends. I looked online and ran across this salon. When I called they put Eve on the phone and she told me she did not have time available to fix it herself but recommended Lisa or Daniel. She told me to come right over.
Eve took me to Lisa's chair and they looked at it together. I felt at ease when Eve said Lisa didn't need her help and that Lisa was a great colorist. She was not kidding. Lisa had me fixed in less then a few hours and I look awesome. I know it will get better each time, but now I have the blonde hair I wanted. I told them I would write this because these reviews do no justice to how professional yet comforting this salon is. I will never attempt to do my own color again. Thank you haircolorxperts for saving my hair!

After having my hair ?butchered? on one side, I started looking for a new salon for my daughter & me. We decided to try HCX based on the CitySearch reviews.

We made an appt with Eve for my daughter. Eve was wonderful! She talked to my daughter & me for a while to discuss what we were trying to achieve & then gave us feedback. She took her time cutting my daughter?s hair making small precision cuts vs whacking away. The result was incredible! My daughter has a very stylish cut that is also very versatile.

While waiting on my daughter, I looked around at the other stylists & their clients. Everyone?s hair that I saw looked awesome! In addition, all of the stylists were very friendly & down-to-earth. Everyone seemed to get along & there was no cattiness going on like in some salons. It was a very pleasant experience for both of us.

I had to make an emergency appt after I home colored my butchered hair. I tried to make an appointment with Eve but she was booked up. However, Eve still came to the phone to find out about my situation. She asked if I needed to come in that day & said Laura could do my color correction. Eve also said that she would be on hand to provide consultation on my hair. When I arrived, both Laura & Eve consulted me on my hair color & current cut. The were very honest about my situation by telling me that getting my hair back to the way I wanted would take some time. They were also upfront about the cost which I appreciated. Laura made me feel very comfortable & had me laughing while she worked on my hair. And Eve would periodically stop by to see how I was doing. I could tell they both really cared about fixing my hair vs just making a buck! Now my color is back to normal & I have a cut that should allow my hair to grow out less painfully. I really appreciate them working me in too ? many salons would not even try to do that?especially on a weekend.

I tried to lighten my brown hair at home and it turned many shades of orange. I was freaking out. I figured this salon would have to be the place to fix it. I called and they told me to come in that day and at least have the manager look at it. Eve was very kind and assured me that it was fixable without damaging it. She did not have time that day to fix it so she sat down with a stylist - Laura and the 3 of us discussed the whole solution. These girls were so professional. I thought they would have laughed at me, but they actually made it a fun experience. I am now a perfect blonde with the coolest bangs - Eve suggested them. Thank you Laura for the fix and I will soon be back.

I've seen both Daniel and Trent and they were both awesome. What I loved was that they looked at my face and hair first and really thought about what would look best on ME, taking into account my eyes, skin, face, etc. My husband always likes my hair longer but he can't get over how much he loves my new (shorter) style. These guys really found a color and style that suits me. Trent is wonderful at drying and styling, I wish he could do my hair every morning!!

I moved here to Charlotte last July and I have had a very difficult time finding someone to cut my curly, long hair appropriately. I went to this salon based on reviews posted here on City Search and also requested a specific stylist, Eve, based solely on these review. EVERY SINGLE PERSON WAS ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!!!!
Eve gave me the best service and the best haircut I have had in a VERY LONG TIME. I receive compliments every single day about my hair and my curls never looked better!!!

This hair cut by Eve is the BEST I have ever recieved. I would recomend her to anyone, she does a great job. I have had so many compliments after this amazing coloring, and cut. I have been so lucky to lay my hair in her hands. Eve Is probably the sweetest person to her customers, and can make them feel comfortable in their chair, and not let them feel unwanted. So when I say she is the absolute best she really is.

I haven't had any time to pamper myself since the baby was born. So a friend recommended Eve at HCS and not only did Eve recommend a great new hair style, but the hair highlights far exceded my expectations. I don't know why I waited so long but I will always return to Eve because not only did I make a new friend but I now have my own personal stylist for life.

I went to Haircolor Experts Parketowne Village. one of my girlfriends recommended Jenny. My hair was past my shoulders and I HAD decided to cut it off. We talked about my options and she really listened to me, repeated things back to "make sure we are on the same page".She gave me this awesome little bob that is so much easier for me to style than my long hair was. Kudos to JENNY!

I usually dont write reviews, but I couldnt let this one go unnoticed. This was my first time in the HCX Parktowne, the stylists were all so proffessional and friendly and really know what they are doing. My stylist, Eve was very honest with me and suggested something I never even thought would look good on me, but when she was done, I was very impressed. Her color and cut made me look ten years younger, I have recieved no less than ten compliments a day, and really makes me feel great. Keep up the good work Eve.

I had an appointment at 12:30 and drove almost 30 miles to get there. When I arrived at 12:15 I was told that the sylist was with another client and that my appointment was actually at 12:00. I told her the appointment was made for 12:30 and I had driven quite a ways to get there. She informed me that there were no other stylist available and I couldn't be seen.

As a consultant who spends 4 days a week in Charlotte but lives in another state, I chose haircolorxperts in ParkTowne Village (right down to my stylist) based exclusively on the reviews I had read here. Couldn't have asked for a better result! I went in looking for a consultation that would tell me "what would work best for me" in the way of cut and color. Daniel sat with me for almost 30 minutes and did just that. He executed flawlessly and didn't bounce between multiple clients as other Master Designers often do. He had a skill for talking "to" me and not "at" me and, on multiple occasions, sat level with me as he talked through the process. I love the cut he gave and the color really works with my complexion. I'm super pleased. Additionally, the salon hours are great, the ambience is fun, and the refreshments were a great touch!

I have been to upscale salons in CA.,FL.,NY, & Las Vegas,...in the past 15 years and have never been really happy with how my long hair was cut. There were times when it was just okay,...but never something that I could say,.."This is it! This is how I love my hair to be cut & shaped!" I had made the unfortunate mistake of coloring my hair at home in hopes that I would wind up with hair like the beautiful lady on the box. In case you haven't already figured out where I'm going with this.....I didn't. What I ended up with was hair that resembled Gene Simmons minus the face paint and bloody bat. Flat, black....and ugly. Neil was highly recommended to me as the "go to" guy for color correction. I made the appointment and kept my fingers crossed that it would turn out OK as it's well known that once you go black, it's hard to go back to a softer, natural hue : ) Well, Neil not only gave me the MOST beautiful color I've ever had, he ALSO gave me the BEST cut I've ever had!! I have received so many compliments from both friends and strangers! I needed a big change in hairstyle and he gave me just that! I have looked at myself so many times in the mirror now two days later, that I'm beginning to feel a little vain! : ) I would absolutely recommend Neil to my friends as he not only gave me the much needed change, but was so much fun to hang out with! I live an hour outside of Charlotte and was fed up with going to the same 2 salons everyone in my town goes to. So I did my research and made an appointment with Eve for nothing more then a consultation. I had no idea what I wanted and was just bored with my blonde highlights. She was prompt and very honest about my current look. My skin tone and eye color played a huge part in our decision on the color she was to do. My husband always said I looked fine, so I needed someone else to tell me what I would look better with. Eve certainly opened that door and I found I have a wide range of looks I can wear. I went back a week later to get my hair done and she didn't miss a beat. I look fresh and updated. I can't describe the colors she used, but I can say noone else has taken the time to discuss them with me. As for the cut, I let her have full control. All I know is it takes me 10minutes and I am out the door. Thank you for the steller customer service and advice.

I saw Jenny at Haircolor Experts on Woodlawn Rd on Saturday and I cannot get over how beautiful my hair looks. She was honest, knew her stuff, and took the time to show me how I can do my hair at home. My husband has never said anything when I have gotten home from the salon before but he noticed this time that I had done something different and told me how much he liked it! I would recommend Jenny to anyone and will be sending my friends to see her.

All I have to say about this salon, is Laura is great. She is thorough but quick. I let her do whatever she wanted with my color. I have the coolest cooper pieces around my face now. The cut is fun and so was she. I can't say I am the pickiest women out there, but I do like to look modern/professional. My expectations were exceeded here.

i've been looking for a good salon in charlotte and after reading reviews, decided to try this one. i was nervous b/c NO one seems to be able to do my color exactly the way i like it, and i figured this would be just another shot in the dark in my quest for the perfect color... :-) (i'm pretty picky about what i like and insist on demensional color)! my appointment was set up with leslie and when i came in she sat down and talked to me and went thru pictures with me so i could decide and show her exactly what i wanted. i've kept my hair heavily highlighted blonde for a couple years now b/c everytime i tried to go darker i came out of the salon looking like i dyed it myself at home, with a boring, allover brown. i was always depressed afterwards and would end up back to blonde. :-) well, i came in a blonde this time and decided to go out a brunette w/ blonde highlights b/c i felt like leslie really understood what i wanted. it's not an easy feat to cover fake blonde with a shiny, not dull or mousy, brown and still keep the perfect amount of highlights for depth. well, she did it. i left soooo happy and am still so glad i decided to go darker. oh, and i actually had a great time there! i ended up talking to trent and leslie during my whole appt, which made the time fly. i've gotten tons of compliments on my new color and it feels so good to know i have somewhere to go now where i can actually trust that the stylist is LISTENING to me!

Eve is truly amazing! I have lived in several cities across the country and have never found someone who understands my hair like she does. I have long, thick hair?that I actually enjoy and want to keep?and it has always been a challenge to find a stylist that really has the knowledge on how to make it look its best. I found Eve and the first thing I really liked is that SHE had beautiful long hair, so I knew she understood my challenge. I have been to places where either the stylist wants to give you the latest short, trendy cut (because they don?t know how to properly cut long hair), or they try to cut my long hair and the bottom remained heavy-looking, dragging me down (you girls out there with long hair know what I?m talking about!). Eve explained the best technique for the look I wanted was a cut called ?shattered layers?. Wow ? when I left I felt like I should have been walking out on a red carpet! My hair is GORGEOUS!!! Live in metro Chicago and went here while visiting relatives for Christmas.
I did a CitySearch lookup for a recommendation. Saw the great reviews and took a leap of faith. Got an appointment with Daniel and went to the salon with a photo of a haircut I wanted. I got exactly that hair cut. I was very pleased and got lots of compliments when I returned to Chicago. He was great cutter and gracious as well.
All the staff were friendly and helpful.
The cut, dry and style was a great price too.

I had a hair disaster at home with a highlighting kit. The girls at my work told me it was terrible and I had to fix it asap. I never spent alot of money on my hair, but I knew I couldn't fix it myself. I went to 3 salons for consultations and prices. I chose this salon based on how honest and professional Eve was. She let me know that the first visit would be the higher price, but every visit after that would be in my budget. I left with a color I could have never got at home and I am very impressed with the volume my cut has. I recommend Eve and this salon.

Words can't describe the level of customer service I received. From the moment I walked in the door to the time I left I felt nothing but pampered. These guys really do pay attention to detail. I am probably one of the most particular people when it comes to my hair. I found this salon through citysearch, read all the reviews and thought I would give it a try. Moving from LA where the salons are so lavish I'll be honest I was very nervous. When I called to make the appointment the receptionist was very detailed and got right down to the bottom of what I was seeking. She made sure that I knew when my appointment was, where the salon was located, and answered all my questions very well. By the way the streets in Charlotte are very confusing. Thank god for mapquest. My appointment was with Trent. I was again very impressed with the amount of detail that went into my appointment. We had an in depth conversation about my hair and he got to the bottom of my likes and dislikes. When I left I was so relieved to have found him and actually feel like he was better than my stylist in LA. I made sure I made all my appointments for the holidays because if I can't get in with Trent I don't know what I'll do. Great job and thanks so much for everything.

I was referred to this salon by a friend that works at the Renissance Hotel. She told me she sends visitors there when they need their hair done. She suggested I ask for Eve, but any stylist would be fine. It was very last minute but I wanted my hair done for the weekend. The lady on the phone told me that Eve and Trent would take care of me. It turns out that instead of telling me they were too busy, they had Trent do my haircut and Eve do my highlights. I felt like they went above and beyond to take care of me. I was greeted by both stylists and they did my consultation together. He discussed his haircut with her, so she knew where to put my highlights. I highly recommend both stylists. I hope they read this because I really enjoyed my visit. See you in December.

Im a guy and have lived in charlotte for years. I have tried many different places to get my haircut with a reasonable price. I have come to find out that citysearch is the way to go. I found haicolorxperts and thought i would give it a try. i gave them a call and was able to get in right away. When I arrived i was greeted and offered a drink. One of my choices was beer!! It was great. As I was waiting for my appointment I noticed what a wonderful job this stylist near the front did on this lady. Seeing the detail she put into that lady I had hoped they would do the same for me. Come to find out that was Juli the stylist I had my appointment with. When she was finished she came over to me and greeted me with a smile and shaked my hand. We walked to her chair were we discussed what i wanted to see and what she thought would work well with my hair. Juli told me her price which was very reasonable. I enjoyed great conversation with a great haircut and pleased with my overall experience.

I recently called to make an appointment at the Haricolorxperts, Parktown location. A receptionist named Leah answered the phone. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make that appointment because the receptionist was completly incompetent. One of my friends had her hair done there and I wanted to have the same thing done to mine. I am an african female and when I explained that to the receptionist she said that they didnt have any stylist avaliable to do "black" hair. I asked her if I could come in for a consult and she put me on hold for almost 5 minutes and never returned to the phone. I was completly disgusted at how unprofessional this receptionist was.

I moved here 2 months ago from DC and I passed by this salon when I was going tanning one day, so I just stopped in. I met the manager Eve and discussed with her my hair concerns since I was new to the area. She scheduled me with Laura for a consultation. I moved here bout 8 months back...and didn?t get my hair done for once, As I wasn?t so sure where to go (I am kind a picky specially when it comes to hair.) neways. So I found this place on city search. The reviews were impressive so thought will give it a try. I must say it was really a wonderful experience. As I get in the first thing that asked was what would I like to drink? I was 10 mins early. while waiting I asked If they know a nice massage place for facial. The manager was really nice and told me about the best places she knew. She even went and called the lady next door ( from Merle Norman ) and introduced me. Manning cut my hair and I must say he gave me exactly what I asked for, he totally listened to me, suggested me and gave me tips about styling/combing, in short he is a fun-loving guy and takes his work really seriously. And the best part is: the place is not even that expensive. It cost me 50$ for cutting (Including shampoo with scalp massage, conditioning, consultation), which is worth every penny. :D

I will admit I use box color on my hair at home. I do splurge on my haircuts though. I work with a woman who told me to try Daniel out at this salon. The haircut he gave me was beautiful and very easy for me to work with. He had mentioned a few highlights around my face would be a nice change and low maintenance. So I gave it a shot. I really do love them. I was nervous, but he was totally right. It does look better this way.

I have been a client of Eve's for nearly a year now. She was off for an injury and a friend talked me into trying her stylist in the meantime. I wasn't pleased at all. Well, the very next day I called in hopes Eve was back. I was told 1 more week until her return. I was back in her chair a few days ago and I can't do her work justice on here.
Always something new! This time a volume cut with a splash of color in my crown - as she calls it. This girl has so many options for my hair everytime I see her. If I could change my hair monthly I would. I am so glad she is back. I wrote this because I feel she needs to be recognized as one of the best stylist I have ever had. Thank you for putting up with me Eve.

WOW doesn't even do my experience with Trent justice. I use to always color my hair at home becuase I've always had horrible experiences here in Charlotte. I did a little research and came across haircolorxperts online and thought I would give them a try. Within the first few moments of speaking with Trent I knew that I was going to be very happy with my results. He did such an amazing job with my color and cut I will NEVER go anywhere else. Being a girl from the North I was in desperate need to find a stylist who understood my desire for an easy hairstyle that would withstand this Southern heat. I can't belive how lucky I was to find not one but two stylist from my home town of Pittsburgh! Eve and Dan make me feel right at home even though I am miles away. I'm fairly new to town, under a year. With just moving to a new town and working non-stop I decided I needed to be pampered some. It was time to find a new stylist. CitySearch has everything! Well I found Haircolorxperts and thought I would give them a try. I have heard good comments from a few co-workers. My first visit was scheduled with Juli at another HCX location for a cut and deep conditioning treatment. She was very caring, gave great advice, and very detailed. She was able to cut my damaged hair without really losing my length. My hair had life again! After a few more conditioning treatments and cuts Juli suggested that I should get few soft hilites. I was nervous because of some past experiences. The hilites came out great. They looked very natural and soft. So when Juli told me she was changing locations I said to myself I must follow her. The HCX at Parktowne was not far at all. My visit to this location was great! There was more parking and more shops, such as many food places, nails, tanning, just about a little of everything. Juli made a good choice and I made a good choice in Juli. She has taken great care of my hair. A quality color and cut with good pricing. The other stylist were friendly, caring and enjoying their clients company. I highly recommend Juli and the others at HCX. Thank You!

I scheduled an appointment with Trent because of a friends recommendation and boy am I glad I did. This was not just a hair appointment, I needed a new look for a job interview. I had a terrible experience at hair color experts. I went based on all the good reviews on city search. The salon is clean and friendly. Customer service was great. I went asking for advice on color and I felt like I had to direct the stylist. My hair was so bad my boyfriend asked why I my hair looked gray and pink. I had to get it corrected at another salon and have to have several corrections to get it back to normal. My hair was cut, but was done very blunt and harsh. Very disappointed and definitely do not recommend!

I just wanted to thank Eve for saving me from a hair disaster. I tried to highlight my long hair myself to save money and ended up with white damaged ends and spotted roots. I found this salon on here and when I called they told me to come right in for a consultation that day. I felt comfortable with Eve and the other stylists I met. I was embarrassed at first, but they reassured me that it happens alot at home and was quite fixable. I did have to cut a few inches off, but I now have pretty blonde highlights around my face and a cute style. I think I learned my lesson. Thank you again.

I was so excited to find out that Haircolorxperts @ Parktowne village Are selling the Jessica Simpson "Hairdo" Extentions! I was just coming in the salon for a cut and they started telling me about the peices and they tried one on me and it matched soo good! I could not believe my eyes i looked 10 years younger and i had long hair that i have been working so hard for ,a long time! It is so easy to put in my self also. One other issue was the pricing .. I had a great time at this salon. I am a Charlotte native and go from salon to salon. I heard a few things about this place and gave it a try. I am a long time customer of Natalie and I have to say if anything ever happens to her I don't know what I will do. I came to her at a time when my hair was really unhealthy and damaged. She was very comforting and assured me that she would get it back to normal. She did just that plus exceeded my expectations. If you havn't had your hair done by Natalie you should. She is wonderful and I would recommend her to anyone. She just moved to a new salon and I was kind a nervous going there but I was also surprised at how well the staff treated me. They were friendly and made sure I was very comfortable, catering to my every need. From the time I walked in the door to the time I left Haircolorxperts made sure I was taken care of. All I can say is Trent is a gem! I was so nervous leaving my hairstylist of 15 years and trying someone new. I asked around on what salon to try and this one came up often with rave reviews. I stopped in and Shawna suggested I go to Trent, because he is a colorspecialist. He had so many suggestions and I felt comfortable in his hands. I left relieved knowing I found a new home. Thanks again Trent for the great color and the refreshing wine! Keep up the good work!

When I walked in this salon for the first I was actually greeted by the staff and that hasnt happened in a long time, whether it be a salon or whatever. My visit to HCX in Parktown was great. I couldnt have been more pleased I was expecting a good outcome. But, they really went out of their way to make me more than happy. Thank you.

I was recommended to schedule an appointment with Pooran, so I did. She is the most professional stylist I have ever had. From the moment she greeted me to my consultation to my service to checking out, she made me feel special. I could tell she appreciated her customers' business. Her customer service was top notch and her ability to do my color and cut was second to none. Thanks again Pooran and see you soon.

I bumped into a women at the mall and loved here hair. She stated that she went to Zahava at ParkTowne Village off of Woodlawn and Park Roads. Words can't explain how I felt after Zahava made my hair come alive. She is an incredibly talented and gifted stylist. Ladies, if you are in the market for a new stylist, I'd schedule an appointment with Zahava. She is well worth the price.

I'm not sure whether these reviews are real because there is only one from each reviewer, and one reviewer who did TWO for Hrcolor Xperts on the same day. This review is real. I liked the cut, but the color was not good. I wasn't asked exactly what I wanted, and went from blond to a muddy brown that was supposed to be my natural color. When I went back for a reevaluation (and I haven't done this in five years) the stylist implied I was there just for the blowout and not because my hair was a fried, muddy multi-colored brown with a few obvious blond streaks. Very artistic, but I wish it was more about the customer. No computer imaging offered - just products to sell. All in under two hours - that's unheard of for a good salon!

I am visiting from out of town and read about the salon on citysearch and decided to try it. My appoinment was with Zahava and she was excellent. She spent a lot of time discussing what I wanted and what would look best on me. She is very professional and I am extremely pleased with my new cut and color. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well. I highly recommend this salon and Zahava.

This salon is just what I have been looking for since moving to Charlotte three years ago. I have visited all of the local upscale salons and just didn't get the the exceptional service or feel I was looking for. I've finally found my new home that will service all of my hair care needs without the snobbiness. The staff made me feel welcome and Pooran gave me fresh ideas for my style. Thanks to Pooran and the rest of the team for servicing me. I just can't say enough.

I highly recommend Leila. She is very personable and I can see why she is such a popular stylist. I absolutely love my new cut and color. In addition, she threaded my eyebrows versus waxing them. Girls, you need to try threading if you have not experienced it before. It's much better and healthier.

I've been a client of Shonda's for two years and she always gives me what I want. I continue to recommend her to friends who desire a change in stylists. Overall my experience with Shonda and the salon staff has been positive and refreshing.

What can I say about my experience with Pooran? She is the master of customer service. From the moment I was greeted by her at the front desk I knew I was in good hands. She is an absolute professional. She exudes confidence, yet has an incredible softness about her. She was an incredible listener during my consultation. In addition, Pooran took the time to educate me on the products she was using and how to take care of and style my new do at home.

I visited Zahava as the result of a recommendation from a friend who has gone to her for years. She did an excellent job and I love my cut and color. She not only is very technical but had a great personality and totally made me feel comfortable. Zahava is a true artist and professional.

I finally found Leila, who I lost touch with when she left another high-end salon 3 months ago. She is the total package. Very skillful, no ego, sweet, and a great listener. I feel like she really values me as a client.

I went to HCX for the first time and asked the stylist for a new look. She asked me some questions about how much time I like to spend doing my hair (none) and she began. The cut is the best that I have ever had!!! My color is beautiful - I have gotten tons of compliments already! I would hightly recommend HCX!
