Kernersville Dodge - DON'T BUY HERE!!!!

I had a 2006 Raider truck that I traded for a 2000 Cadillac Deville. My kids got big and I needed something to get them in and out of. The Cadillac looked good and we agreed to a straight up trade. I told them there was some shaking and would need the tires balanced to ensure that was the problem. The dealership wanted to charge me $40.00 to balance the tires. Should of left right here but the nightmare continues. The tires were balanced and the shaking went away. I bought the car with what I thought was a full tank of gas. When I left dealership on my way home the car cut out and the check engine light came on. To say the least I was boiling hot. Im stuck in the middle of the street with cars coming off the freeway. I called the dealership and they said well just try and start it in 5 minutes and if it doesn't start we will send someone to get you. Once I got my temper under control I said to my wife the gas gauge isn't full. I said there is a gas station about a quarter mile away Ill go buy a gas can and bring some gas back. I also most got hit trying to cross the busy intersection. Paid 15.00 for a gas can and put two gallons of gas in the car. When putting gas into the car a tractor trailer almost hit me and the car coming off the freeway. I got the gas into the car and let the dealership know not to send someone. I got the car home and tried to figure out what was wrong. The next day I drove the car and the check engine light came on. What a mess now something else is wrong with this car. I went to autozone and had them print out the codes for me. Codes said something was wrong with the TCC and a engine misfire. I googled the codes and it the TCC is an expensive repair. I went to the dealership and told the manager that the car had issues and if they would take the car back. Manager says he would need to look the car over and see what they could do. I agreed and they gave me a car to drive. Two days went by and nobody called so I decided to check in. The service center had no idea what I was talking about and said they would call me back. Service called back and said they replaced something in the fuel line and now the gas gauge would work. They also said the check engine lights were a cause of the broken gas gauge. I said I want to speak with the manager. I asked that he take the car back and he said no gas gauge works. I asked my wife to go get the car. They couldn't find the car and tried to give her another car that was in the service center. They did find the car and used all the gas I put in the tank. My wife brought the car home and the next day I drove car to work. The car just shuts off - electric everything. Almost got rear ended. I was at work and sent an email of the situation. I did get a call back from the receptionist there to let me know she got my email and that a manager would call me. Its been two days no call. This place sells everything as is. So legally they will just sell you crap and stand behind that statement. Ethically - well they have no ethics. I asked that they take the car back give me what I traded and I would pick another car. I was going to drive this car back home for the holiday but how can I its a death trap. Hope I can save someone else from dealing with these people.

Just wanted to say that we drove all the way from the extreme northeast corner of NC to purchase a Chevy Avalanche. Everything seemed fine on test drive. After the test drive we were looking over the vehicle I noticed to my delight a 7 pin to 4 pin adapter( approx $20) was in the vehicle, along with an 8wire wiring harness( $20 value) for the electric brake. There was also a gps navigation disc ($200 value) in the player for the built in gps on the stock radio. After a long day we were ready to get home so we made the over 5 hour trip home. I was showing off the truck to my son when i noticed that sometime between test drive, detailing and delivery someone removed all three of the items from the vehicle. I called my salesman Charlie and he assured me that he would handle it. I got every excuse under the sun. People on vacation, their day off, foot injury etc. I couldnt get a return call until i sent a email stating I was going to manager. NO satisfaction still! Called and asked for general manager. Wouldnt give me a name just dumped me into a generic voicemail. I dont know what bothers me the most... someone stealing the items from the truck or the lack of inaction and care to resolve the matter. Buyers beware!!!!

Worst experience ever, lies deceit and underhandedness. Not what I had expected. After making a deal on a used truck that was listed for sale on the website it took a week for them to get the vehicle ready for delivery. They had gave me a loaner to drive in the meantime but wanted my trade in immediately. Got the 10 day payoff on my trade but never sent the check.....by regular mail to my bank until the 10th day. Needless to say the payment never arrived and assuming all was ok went on business as usual. Well as auto account had not been taken care of my account was debited on the regular date for my previous loan...which should have been paid off 2 weeks prior to this, it has caused a banking nightmare because of their tardiness. Had to plead with dealership to cancel that check and overnight a new one, which they were reluctant to do but finally agreed to this has taken close to a month for them to do. in the process my credit rating had taken a hit because THEY were late paying off a vehicle they had in their possession almost a month. The allowance for my trade was greater than what was owed so I expected money back from it of course they charged me for it and I lost that difference that the account accrued in interest for the near month it took to pay off my trade. In total I have lost close to 500 dollars from this as well as a negative mark on a near perfect credit rating. Was actually told that they couldn't and wouldn't pay off my trade until they received the funding for my purchased vehicle from the financing source...really? Oh and lets not forget that I still have received the registration for the vehicle I bought because the local DMV was "backed up" just a really poor experience from square one, should have waked out when we had the chance but thought Mr Mitchell looked so friendly and convincing on tv that it couldn't get worse....well it did. Considering filing a complaint with BBB and writing to local newspapers warning good people about this sham of a business.

I purchased a RAM 3500. The dealership offers a good selection of trucks. I believe I got a decent bottom line price on the truck. Everything went well during the deal. The only minor issue was that it took about four hours to pay for it and take delivery. It was a Saturday and they were busy.

BUYER BEWARE. My boyfriend bought a truck here and they lied about what they did to it before the sale and how much it cost. They won't return your calls and they will sell you a warranty that they aren't really sure will cover your vehicle. Go somewhere else DON"T GO HERE!!!!! You might luck up and get a decent vehicle but you will be alone. Read the reviews...and read the ones under the Kernersville Dodge website...

Purchased a RAM 3500 over the internet from Afghanistan. Dealership was great to work with and offered a wonderful deal and free delivery of the truck. Two small snags, but were easily overcome. They have a great inventory of trucks and website is easy to navigate. Quick to respond to emails and requests for information.

This was the smoothest buying experience I have ever had at a car dealership. I received a very fair price on my trade in. The entire transaction took very little time. Our salesman, Thomas Manning, was very helpful as was the entire sales department. I will definitely buy from Kernersville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram again. I would not hesitate to refer family and friends to this dealership.

Purchased a 2013 RAM 3500 on Tuesday, July 16th. We traded two vehicles in on this one, and was very pleased with the trade-in values offered on both. We were also able to negotiate a fair price on the new truck. Our sales person was Julius Wittenberg who was a pleasure to deal with! He was able to answer all of our questions and concerns. After purchasing many cars and trucks over the last 30 years, I would have to rate this as one of my best buying experiences. If you are in the market for a new truck, Kernersville Dodge is the place to shop - and if Julius is available, a great sales person to work with.

I went in last friday to look at a 2002 buick regal ended up forgetting about it as it had problems from the get go. ended up looking at a 2003 Chrysler Sebring and ended up getting it, at first I was very happy as I drove away. that night I started noticing things I didn't before (this always seems to happen) first I noticed when turned on the lights the illumination behind the speedometer,tachometer and all wasn't working something wouldn't notice during the day test driving I consider this a safety issue and tuesday when I take it I intend to have them fix it not at my expense. secondly, when I went to roll the windows up the buttons didn't have support so they sink down into the door a little as you push them this didn't happen when I was looking at the car...the next thing was the AC and fan control panel didn't have support behind them another thing that wasn't that way during the test drive, lastly I found it leaks oil bad from the valve covers as it heats up the way it's real noticeable this wasn't noticeable at the test drive since only drove a couple miles. Overall it's an ok car but I should have looked closer than I did my salesman was fine but there was things I think they knew about that they didn't tell me, if you're careful moreso than me this is a good place to car shop.

I have never had such a bad experience at a car dealership as i had with kernersville chrysler dodge. I went in one day to trade in my car for a car i found on carmax which they had in their lot. I fell in love with the car as soon as i saw the good condition it was in and how clean it was and it was priced well also. Was told i had to wait til the next day to get the bank to finance for they were closed for the day and aslo needed to bring in my co-signer in to sign the title off to them for my old car. Everything was fine and dandy until we got to the signing. They had my mom wait an hour just to sign 1 paper which was the title. Sfte she left and Will sanchez got all my info he needed for financing and everything finances was next. We were told it would be about a 30 minute wait which was fine. We went and had a quick lunch but was told it should be less than 30 minutes so we rushed our lunch to get back to not looose our spot. Came back and waited an extra hour just to get into finances. Finally got all the paper work signed and took my car home.

The next week i got a call at Work telling me the bank would NOT finance me until i change my address on my liscense becasue i had just moved into a temporary house. Am not planning on being here for more than 3 months yet they said it didnt mattter. This made me so mad because i was told the bank had already financed me. The evening of the call i was going to be leaving for the beach the same night and said i would get it done when i get back in 3 days. He said that wasnt good enough. I brushed it off because thats their fault. They shouldnt of sold me the car if the bank wouldnt finance it without the address change. I was called 3 times during my vacation, emailed, they called all ym refrences trying to get a hold of me. This was VERY poor business and very unprofessional business on their part and i will never work with this dealership ever again!

On a recent purchase, the salesman, Charlie Johnson, was very helpful. He even helped us coordinate details of the deal over the phone so the Finance Department had everything they needed to prepare the paperwork. We let everyone know we would be there at a certain time so that my husband could drop in, sign the paperwork quickly and return to work. He waited so long to see someone that other employees were asking are you still waiting? In fact, multiple employees asked multiple times. Finally, after pacing in front of salesmen who were discussing where to get food and other employees were standing around as if they had nothing to do, he, with his bag of cash announced, I want to buy a car but no one will take my money!. He finally signed papers after four hours passed, hundreds of dollars of wages were lost, and an inordinate amount of frustration developed. Dont expect good service from this dealer!

I purchased a 1999 Lexus LS400 from this dealership. I had to point out 3 things that needed to be taken care of prior to my buying the car. However, one very important thing that was overlooked during their inspection was that the passenger side view mirror was BROKEN - the mirror, which had been previously repaired, was positioned into place when I was test driving the car. Once I got on the interstate after purchasing the car, the entire mirror unit fell OUT of the housing. To me, this was a safety issue, and should have been detected when the car was inspected by the mechanics. The mirror being fully electronic (memory / heated) is going to cost me approximately $500.00 to get replaced. It just hangs there. The sales manager refused to assist me in getting this replaced.

Granted, I got the car for somewhat below KBB value, but it was not perfect by any means. I *did* request a spare key, as it only has (1), and they gave me a credit for $150.00 to get a new key, which actually costs about $300 from Lexus.

The staff was polite (of course, since they were selling an $8K used car), but had this been noticed prior to my purchasing the car, I would have insisted on its being replace/repaired. Unfortunately, the mirror was apparently pushed into place for temporary use.

If you buy a used car from them, make SURE you check the car out fully, so that you don't get stuck having to spend even more money to get it in proper condition!

Just bought a Ram 2500 from them March 16, 2013. Excellent experience with Kernersville Dodge.

I buy new vehicles every other year, and dealers always try to pull me in to their showroom, make me test drive something and take my license to keep while I test drive, and then never give it back. Or, they will take the keys to my trade-in and hold it hostage until I make a decision with them to buy something. They try to make it too emotional. I am tired of that garbage and their sales 101 tactics.

I contacted 3 dealers with Ram2500's available. Only 2 would give me discounted prices and trade-in estimates on my vehicle site unseen. Kernersville gave me the best deal by over $1000. And, they have a giant selection.

At the dealer, they are very busy. But it wasn't hard to find a salesman to help me. He never took my keys, he never took my license, he never questioned or argued with what had already been promised to me over the phone.

Great experience!

After searching the internet I came across a 2006 grand cherokee at this dealership. I inquired about it and was given a call back. After a few days of negotiating we made a deal. Drive 4.5 hours there to find they were very busy. After inspecting the vehicle there were a few details that were left out from the pictures and the salesman that inspected it. I wasn't too thrilled about them but all cosmetics that I could fix without any major problems. The price was probably a reflection of the visual condition. We arrived around 1:30pm and didn't actually leave until 4:30pm. Vehicle was good, selection of vehicles there looked great, finance department was excellent. Just the waiting could have been better after letting them know when we were arriving. I figured that was setting an appointment. Overall I'm pleased and would recommend this dealership.

I searched the internet for the best price and in my price range.I wrote down the stock #s and price of each one I wanted to look at.After I found one I wanted.We sat down to write up the deal
internet price (25,695.00) they came back with a price of (29,695.00) said internet price was wrong (they adveritised the price......... and don't believe the autotrader trade in value because they do not honor it. I really liked the truck so I bought it.
Had the truck 2 days when the service light came on. They had the truck all day when they found the problem.( I lost a days pay waiting for them to find it( $240.00).The salesman Kerg was very helpful and got me a loaner truck.They had the truck for 3 weeks to fix it. When I got it back it started smoking from a valve cover gasket they didn't put back on right.( Lost another days pay waiting on that fix. (240.00) So I'm out $480.00 had to make a truck payment and only had the truck 4 days.Only hope the truck is fixed for good now.

Thank you Tom for your purchase. We apologize you had issues with your truck. If your issue has not been resolved please contact us.
.

I've read the reviews and am kinda in shock at the bad ones...I understand if you bought a used vehicle there and had issues with the vehicle your not happy, but it's not the dealerships fault your car has issues and is not covered under a warranty.
I bought a 2012 Ram 3500 over the internet and couldn't be happier with the transaction. Melanie was very nice and professional, as was Jeff the sales manager. They gave me a fair price for my trade right over the phone, sight unseen and the vehicle I bought was as described. I live in Ga. and it was delivered to my door free of charge on a trailer and they took my trade back with them.
I read a review on some title issues and I haven't gotten that far yet. I've had the truck 2 days and Jeff said everything would be mailed to me. We'll see.......I would definitly recommend this dealership.

Worst auto buying experience ever!!! I live in Indiana and had the vehicle shipped, upon receiving it on November 23rd I was given a Indiana out of state vehicle inspection form from the driver Daniel, was told to have it filled out by the Indiana BMV and return it to the dealership, the following day I took the form to my local BMV, they would not touch it and was told, sir you are the only person that can register your vehicle. So I called Will Sanchez the sales associate to inform him of what was happening, he told me not to worry about it and they will be taking care of registering my vehicle for me, on December 13th I receive an email from Alysia Howell the out of state title clerk, requesting the form completed and returned, I then inform her what I was told by the Indiana BMV, she said that's not true I have a lot of experience, I've registered many vehicles for the state of Indiana and that a police officer can complete the form. The form was completed and returned back to her on December 14th, my registration was not submitted to the Indiana BMV until January 9th! The anticipated registration fees on my purchase agreement were $978.54! when visiting my local BMV they said no way! I informed Alysia and she said whatever the total was the difference would be refunded. On January 14th I received a check for $112.37 which brings me to $866.17, Indiana BMV only collected $714.17 which included a $21 Late/Delinquency fee!!! I was overcharged $152, and absorbed a $21 Late/Delinquency fee for their tardiness! After requesting my $173 returned, Alysia said there was a service fee for out of state title work, not according to the Indiana BMV, the total was $714.17. The dealer charges a documentation fee of $499.50, which should cover anything else! I tried to contact management at the dealer left voice mails and no calls were returned!!! Avoid this dealer!!!!

Dear Nick, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. With every state having different DMV regulations on registrations it can be difficult to determine the correct action that needs to be taken. If this issue is not resolved please contact us. Thank you for your out of state business.

Great experience for me and my wife as we purchased a truck for our son. The salesman (Omar) stayed late to help meet our needs and it was on Christmas Eve too. The financial guy was very nice and professional too! Big inventory to get what you want. All around good experience!! I would recommend this dealership.

%100 the worst decision i ever made purchasing a vehicle. bought a 03 dodge ram 2500 and it is a LEMON. arrogant as can be. %100 can not do work on a vehicle. they claimed they replaced my brakes but yet i replaced them 2 weeks after. vehicles are supposed to go through a inspection. so far mine has had a transfer case, transmission lines, brake lines and cables, overdrive clutch, underdrive clutch, thrust bearing, steering box ( which i just spent another $122 on because the mechanics cross threaded it) rotors, exhaust work, entire rear brake assembly. do not make the same mistake i did.

One of the best experiences I've had purchasing a truck. Everyone was really nice, over the phone and dealing with them in person at the dealer. My sales man was Leon, he was one of the nicest guys I have met. Made the buying experience awesome. The dealership was clean and neat, my truck I bought was cleaned before I left, and they gave me a great deal on the truck. I would recommend this dealership to anyone. They have a large selection of vehicles and will let you look at anyone you want. Larissa and the finance department were very helpful and nice. The only negative with my purchase would be, I wish they would give you the 3 month/3 thousand mile warranty on used vehicles. Also, there were no floor mats in the truck that I bought and they only gave me one key. Thanks for a great experience!

I purchased a used vehicle from Kernersville Chrysler Dodge and can only rate my overall experience with two stars. This rating is regrettable because the start of the sales process was positive. The dealership was very clean and I was promptly greeted by a polite salesperson, Ronnie Welch. The test drive was adequate and the salesperson was not overly aggressive to make the sale. The negative parts of my experience consisted of an arrogant sales manager, an issue with the vehicle I bought having only one key, and a finance manager that barely acknowledged my presence during the signing of the sales documents.

The sales manager, Jeff, initially offered an insulting low price for my trade-in saying he did not know a lot about the make or the current market value. He later would change an agreement dealing with the used vehicle only having one key. I inquired about the key issue three times before the sales manager told the salesperson that the dealership would cover half the cost of another $139 key. During the closing of the deal, the salesperson said they would cut a check for the key. At time of delivery, I asked the salesperson for the check and he went back into the dealership only to return to say that I could purchase a new key, return to the dealership, and then the sales manger would provide the check.

Additionally, I found the finance manager, Don, to be rude. When the salesperson introduced me, the finance manager did not introduce himself, stand up from his desk, or offer to shake hands. He was only concerned about getting the sales documents signed and processed.

To be fair, I will say that the used vehicle was in excellent condition with detailed records from the previous owner, and a reasonable price for my trade-in was finally reached. The salesperson, Ronnie, was polite and professional for most of the sales experience, but at the end he became visibly irritated with my persistence on the key issue. Kernersville Chrysler Dodge has much room for improvement with their employee's treatment of the customer and the potential to easily be a dealership better than a two star rating.

I purchased a 2008 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership Saturday 01/28/2012. The sales experience was great and the paperwork was quick and painless. I also purchased the extended warranty on the Jeep. After arriving home with the Jeep I realized the AUX port on the radio was malfunctioning. The dealership is closed Sunday. I waited until Monday to call and speak with the dealership about the problem. Being that the car was less than 3 days into my ownership I assumed they would at a minimum offer to look at the radio. The answer I recieved was "Unless its the drive train or engine I would not be able to do anything about that" I asked when I would be able to use the extended warranty even though the $100 deductible for warranty seemed over the top for a port to be repaired. The dealership informed me I would have to wait 30 days to use the warranty. Overall I rate the dealership 3 stars, had they handled the port situation I would have rated 5 stars and recommeded this dealership to everyone. However; now I will not recommed this dealership for the purchase of any used vehicle. If you do purchase from this dealership make sure you check every little thing before you sign any paperwork. The internet ad also stated the Jeep came with an additional soft top which was not included. 3 stars is a fair rating for Kernersville Chrysler Dodge.

I am from Ma. and needed to buy a new truck for tax reasons by the end of 2011, I started looking on line for what I wanted. I narrowed it down to a 2012 Ram 2500 Laramie Longhorn and the color I wanted. Then I started checking who had it and at what price. I then found Kernersiville Dodge advertising almost exactly what I was looking for and at an UNBELIEVABLE price, I called down and found out that they were for real, They asked about if I had a trade and I said yes and told them what it was and what it was like. They gave me a GREAT over the phone trade allowance so I bought the truck. I left at 3am Dec 26th and headed down all the wile thinking that there was going to be a snag when I got there, I was greeted very professionally and was introduced to the salesman appointed to me, They looked at my trade to be sure it was how I represented it, did the paper work. then he did a good full walk around and made real sure that I understood all the controls and such we shook hands and off I went back north. I could not have asked for a better experience. I saved more then $10,000.00 then buying locally and was treated like the only person in the showroom. I will tell anyone looking for a new Chrysler vehicle to check them out. you wont be sorry you did. Thanks guys and girls

Experienced Buyer who purchased a 4 yr old vehicle:

Found it while doing an online search, and drove about 2 hrs to look at it. As soon as we arrived my wife said, ??Ever feel like a piece of meat?? There were 4-5 salespeople milling around outside the building??s entrance. These sharks/vultures created a poor first impression.

Doc fee is $500?very high;

Offer NO GENERAL WARRANTY ON USED VEHICLES they sell. Many dealerships do, especially when they have a multi-point inspection process, and this dealer claims to provide a ??125-point inspection? and to be a ??Five Star Certified? dealership. But they sure push the extended warranty ($thousands) and gap coverage ($hundreds) on the loan;

They complete the above inspection and fluid change on all used vehicles before they are put on the lot for sale, per the salesman, even if the vehicle is not judged to be a ??Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle,? afterwards. But the ??Change Oil? message came on in my vehicle the day after I bought it. Considering the salesman told me it had been on the lot a very short time, that means the best case scenario is their techs don??t know how to reset the computer on a vehicle they have serviced; worst case scenario is they did no inspection, at all, or that they did not change any fluids;

After test driving, I returned home to think about whether or not I wanted to purchase. Once I decided, I made a $500 deposit via phone using my credit card to hold it til I could return. I made it clear that I wanted this refunded when I arrived, as I wished to finance the entire amount. I asked twice as we began our paperwork with the salesman (Kreg) and he promised he would take care of it while we finalized our paperwork with his manager. HE DID NOT, so we were forced to wait an add??l 30 minutes after buying for him to finish with another customer. When he finally took me to the cashier, she acted as if it was ruining her day to re-scan my card and punch a couple of buttons. Unfriendly and unprofessional would be understatements!

I was provided an ??out the door? price via email from a Finance Mgr, incl taxes and fees, tags, title, etc., along with a quote of the monthly amount. When finalizing paperwork on the day I returned to buy, this had increased, without explanation;

Angela is helpful and nice, but all she does is computer contacts and app??t setting. Blake, a sales/financing manager, was awesome to deal with via email. (I rcvd no calls from my salesperson, however. NONE in response to either emails or voicemails I left!)

Jeff, another Manager, was simply one of the most ??holier-than-thou?? and fake people I have ever dealt with. Put on a great act for us early, but once we bought, he never spoke again or even acknowledged our presence on the 3 trips we made past his ??tower of power.?

Positives: Great selection and the best used vehicle pricing in a wide area (I searched for 2 months in 4 states--- making several long-distance trips for test-drives--- and they were notably better on pricing than any other). Also offer great financing (again, I could not beat what they obtained for me through Truliant Credit Union), and are fairly low-pressure in their sales tactics;

Negatives: YOU ARE NOTHING BUT A NUMBER to them. Jeff told me they sell 200 used cars each month, alone, before he became mute. As soon as you buy, they all show they have no further interest in you.

Did I buy? Yes. Was I pleased enough with the overall process to return, or to recommend the dealership to others? Probably not. I DID NOT LEAVE WITH WARM-FUZZIES after spending over $19k? and I deserved that!

They complete the above inspection and fluid change on all used vehicles before they are put on the lot for sale, per the salesman, even if the vehicle is not judged to be a ??Certified Pre-Owned Vehicle,? afterwards. But the ??Change Oil? message came on in my vehicle the day after I bought it. Considering the salesman told me it had been on the lot a very short time, that means the best case scenario is their techs don??t know how to reset the computer on a vehicle they have serviced; worst case scenario is they did no inspection, at all, or that they did not change any fluids;

I was provided an ??out the door? price via email from a Finance Mgr, incl taxes and fees, tags, title, etc., along with a quote of the monthly amount. When finalizing paperwork on the day I returned to buy, this had increased, without explanation;

Positives: Great selection and the best used vehicle pricing in a wide area (I searched for 2 months in 4 states--- making several long-distance trips for test-drives--- and they were notably better on pricing than any other). Also offer great financing (again, I could not beat what they obtained for me through Truliant Credit Union), and are fairly low-pressure in their sales tactics;

Response from this business:

Hello Jeff, Thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback. Yes, you are correct if you spend your hard earned money at our dealership you should leave with the warm- fuzzies. While our Doc Fees may seem a little high they are close to the average in the State of North Carolina. Please feel free to Google doc fees and you will find the same information. We are always looking for ways to be able to give a customer great service that all customers deserve. We apologize that your experience was not up to your standards and will work harder to get it right in the future.

I was having problems with my starter--periodically going click click click and then starting (town and country van). It was progressively getting worse. A number of friends said, "it's the starter". Eventually, the van wouldn't turn over. I attempted it off and on for a day. I went to K-ville C/D and described the problem and the woman said It sounds like the battery (very flippantly I might add). Since I'm not a "professional" I politely explained that I didn't think so because a number of friends said it sounded like the starter - but would you plz check. Paid for a tow to the dealer (waited 2 hours for a 20 min drive--tow company recommended by this place). Low and behold they claim it's the battery. I thought, "Hmmmm I don't think so but what do I know about this stuff? " They gladly took my money to replace the battery and when I picked it up, it started fine. THE NEXT DAY....click click click! So, I have a battery I DON"T need and a starter that I DO need.....how am I supposed to get my money back for the perfectly fine old battery??? Crooks or incompetant---you decide

I bought a used Mini Cooper from this dealership via a web ad they had on their site. They had many pictures of the car online and did not misrepresent the car at all. All the people were very nice and knowledgeable, didn't feel rushed into buying, if fact didn't feel presured into buying at all. Good people to deal with!

First, I would like to say, DON"T BUY FROM A DEALERSHIP WHO OFFERS NO KIND OF WARRANTY ON USED VEHICLES! Vehicle was NOT given an honest description of necessary repairs. Salesperson ommitted several cosmetic blemishes and necessary repairs. $500 deposit required to hold vehicle for one day, and it is NOT refundable, in case vehicle is not accurately described. I understand a deposit is only fair, but $500 is crazy, especially when dealership does not include all facts.
Stay away from Salesperson named Kevin. He is very very rude. Not helpful and makes you feel like a nuisance, rather than a customer. He did not greet us, shake our hands, thank you for coming, ask about our long trip there, offer coffee, nor, more importantly, help with details about the vehicle. Only nice thing Kevin said was that if anything happens on the way home, to call him on his cell. Well, about a hour in, I called and stated the truck was shaking like crazy at 50mph. He stated it was the big tires and that was normal. Then, about another 100 miles, the air went out. I call Kevin, he rudely stated he would talk with the owner, and he hung up the phone without saying goodbye, or I will call you back, just hung up. Well, it has been 2 days, I have heard nothing further from Mr.Kevin, and the truck is at the local Ford dealership. The trucks tires are too big for the vehicle, because they scrub on the front fender when you do a sharp turn. The air doesn't work, and I have yet to get it up to 65mph, without shaking to death. One rim is broken in a spot, the passenger side manual window is easy to get down, but it takes great force to get it back up. The drivers side door lock is broken off. I know it is my fault entirely on putting a deposit down on a vehicle I couldn't see in person, but for some, reason, I thought the days of shadey dealerships and salespeople were over, due to competition and the vast possibilities of online buying, etc. SHAME ON ME!

This dealership will get all of my business from now on. I went in to look at a truck I found online, and even though I didn't intend on purchasing that day I got it. The saleperson Daniel was very helpful, and they had access to a lot of different financing options. I didn't feel "sold to" at all. Best truck for the money, hands down. I am very satisfied.

My experience at KCD was awesome. I saw the truck online they were truthful about the condition and quality of the truck when I called and in the picutures that I saw online. Got my financing with the help of dealership contacts and it went great. They were very forthcoming when signing paperwork and explaining all the charges involved. Kevin helped me and was proficient and knowledgable of his work. Some may think that he rushed, but I looked at it like he knew what he was doing. When driving from Va, I showed up, test drove the truck and did the paperwork in about 40 mins. It was perhaps the greatest experience that I have ever had with a dealership, however the $499 doc fee was a little high in my opinion. I would have appreciated maybe $350. A great experience all around.

Started looking for a used car about 2 months ago , drove alot of cars at several deaerships in the area. Stopped by KDCJ to look at some used Jeeps , drove all they had , went home and did some more reading and calculating of fuel mileage and determined a Jeep would not meet my needs , I drive about 800 miles a week , don't get me wrong the Jeeps were great!! Went back later that week and bought a new car , not a used. They had the best price in the area and were all very nice. The salesman , Chris did a good job on helping me out and answered all my questions. I will back in a few years to buy from them again!

Today I purchased a used Dodge Charger from these people, and it was so easy! I didn't think I would actually be able to get such a nice car, but the sales and finance departments really worked for me. My salesperson Omar was very nice and the manager, Blake, couldn't have been more helpful. I did have some complaints, mostly about little things with the car which they refused to fix, but I guess nothing can be perfect. Still, overall I was impressed!

This turned out to be a very good car buying experience. The sales folks and office staff that I worked with through out the whole process were extremely friendly, and seemed to care about making the deal work for me. As others have said, everyone is very laid back and there was no pressure. Very good and constant communication.

I came in yesterday to look at a used Chrysler 300, and after sleeping on the decision I purchased it this morning. I was a little hesitant at first to even go there because of some reviews, but the comments seemed to be pretty old and the price was unbeatable. Imagine my surprise when the salesperson turned out to be nice and knowledgeable, and the manager was laid back and seemed genuinely to want me to be satisfied! Overall I couldn't be happier with the service, price, or car. I would definitely recommend!

I think every time you make a large purchase such as vehicle, there are some things that don't go exactly the way you would want them to in a perfect world. My experience at Kernersville Chrysler Dodge, however, was fantastic. The saleswoman was very friendly, but professional. The manager who closed the deal was laid back and did not pressure me in any way. Compared to times in the past I've bought a car, this was a nice change. I went from looking to driving in a few hours, and couldn't be more pleased.

Buyer beware. Dealer lures you in with low prices but socks it to you with below the line charges and one of the highest "doc" fee you have ever seen. Dealer also plays games with financing. Even if you already have obtained financing they attempt to pressure you into financing with them so they get "kick backs" from the financing company. Charges extra for the same vehicle if you choose to use your own financing or pay cash. And they wonder why people hate buying from a car dealership. On their way out if they continue this.

Kernersville Chrysler Dodge Jeep is an awesome dealership with excellent customer service. I purchased my pre-owned 2008 Lexus IS 250 in July 2010. My salesman was very knowledgeable and helpful. I have now had the vehicle for over seven months, and love it more everyday. People always comment on how nice the vehicle is and think it is brand new. I have been back to the dealership for service and have a great experience with the service department as well. I would recommend KCDJ to anybody looking for a great pre-owned vehicle.

This is the 3rd or 4th Time I have had my car into this dealership. The first time they argued with me about what type of oil was supposed to be in my car. I had to get Chrysler involved and the Owner's son, only then did they put the correct oil in it but still charged me the difference. The other problems I had with the car they supposedly could not duplicated. The next time I had brought my car in because it sounded horrible when it was started, they only partially fixed the problem. The problem is Still there but they could not duplicate the others or they said they would fix themselves. I am having my husband bring it in this time and they are still being rude to him as well. This is the last time I will bring it to them and I am going to get Corporate involved if they dont fix it this time. I wish there was a better dealership in the Triad area. Crown dodge isnt much better.

I took my car to a dealer service Kernersville Dodge Chrysler to install a new wiring fog lights by mopar in my car I bought the parts, i give to them .In the manual show a non mechanic can do it (3 hours labor} except the reprogramming. After they installed the new wiring the lights in my dash was mess up and don't getting start. I bring it back to the dealer and after 3 day they say it's ready. But still with the problems. I come back to talk to the manager and I asked him if you don't have qualify technician just let me know and take to another dealer and he got mad and told me get out there . Now I have my car in other dealer Jeep North Point and i have the report of malpractice and not enough knowledge to this job everything I have on papers. Ilike Jeep is my toy but the service is terrible can't compare with any Japanese or Korean companies .I'm aircraft mechanic and my goals is quality ,my second goal is quality and my third is quality. If we don't want to loose our American companies we have to improve too much ,not to be an equal service like the foreign companies ,we have to be better, you know why? because we are better. Thank you to read this e-mail and appreciate your help concern with my problem.
