im just going to tell it to you straight.(pLEASE MIND MY SPELLING)..Steve anderson is a lying,untrustworthy. man that will use you to an extent then turn on you. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MAN. i am a former renter i used to live in WOODCROFT .My niehgbor needed to move in as soon as possible, when her and steve went and checked out the apt there were maggats EVERWHERE! IN THE CARPET IN THE KITCHEN . STEVE SAID HE WOULD GET THE APT CLEANED OUT...... 2 WEEKS LATER SHE CAME BACK TO MOVE IN THERE WERE STILL BUGS AND MAGGOTS EVERYWHERE. SHE WENT UP TO THE OFFICE SO SHE COULD FILE A complaint. they said cant you clean. she never moved in ..so if you want a decent apt DONT COME HERE

Do not rent from these slumlords! They will take advantage of you any chance that they can... they constantly stopped by our apartment to show it to potential buyers and appraisers without any prior warning. They never fixed anything without multiple calls and missed appointments. Our apartment was filthy and had a horrible odor the whole time we lived there and to top it off they took a good chunk of our deposit money without any itemized receipt explaining what they used it for. Even after calling and asking for the breakdown they still never sent it. Worst landlords EVER!

Do not rent from these slumlords! They will take advantage of you any chance that they can... they constantly stopped by our apartment to show it to potential buyers and appraisers without any prior warning. I am currently renting with Trip A and my air unit broke. I've been home two days now waiting for someone to come fix it in the middle of the summer when temps rise up to 95and, of course, the fan in the living room has been broken since I moved in.

I called both mornings asking for someone to come fix it and they assured me they would call the contractor and give him my number to set up a time. I was home all day yesterday, no call. Repeat the same process this morning except at around 4 I decided to get an update.

I called THEM - not the other way around, and when she got on the phone she told me he was still out of town and not going to be able to come until tomorrrow?? Why did no one tell me this early instead of wasting time and money sitting around a hot apartment??

These are cheap apartments, but you get cheap service, if any at all. Not to mention moving into a place with no new carpets and half the tiles in the bathroom coming up, which I'm sure they will try and take out of my security when I move out. Which, trust me, will be SOON!

Save yourself the trouble and spend a little more money now - it'll be worth it!

I don't care what anybody says. Everyone has an opinion. Mine is that this business and Mr. Anderson helped me find housing when I was completely new here and I urgently needed a place to live. I didn't have a plan but when I got here it felt like home and this business was successful in assisting me in my journey to wellness and stability. I thank the Lord I found the best realtors I ever met. I am now searching for a homestead with acreage to be my forever home. Thank you Triple A Properties ! P.S. where I come from, and in my travels, it is a given people, that nobody returns the security deposit ! My last lease in Tennessee.Knox. was a $400 security and a $250 pet deposit. I was there only 6 months and I'm very very clean but I just knew that the apartment complex would probably take my 650 in deposit money and they did. It's the greedy apartment owners, not the realtors that handle their rental business. I don't know anyone who ever gets their deposit back unless they know the owner personally and get special treatment. That's just the way it is in today's world people. When you rent, be prepared to be ripped off and you won't be ticked off at the end. That is why renting sucks and I'm going to buy my forever home ASAP. I would never rent an old trailer either, common sense tells me they are not clean and I would expect bugs. My last apt. in TN had massive ant problem and I even got sick. Sure I could sue the apartment complex,, but then they would tie up about a year's time of my life, and it's never worth it to go to court. Nobody ever comes out happy. Life is too short to be fighting with people, so, I just let it go and don't let negativity poison my world. Don't shoot the messenger people!! BE KIND TO ONE ANOTHER (2012 is near!)

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Steve Anderson is a liar and a fraud!! We rented a mobile home in Mountain View trailor park, # 14. The trailor was in bad shape when i found it but Steve said it would be fixed. We had to clean it before we moved in. When we moved in the floors were falling in, the ceilling was falling, there was trash and bugs everywhere. The doors were broken and the windows would not open. Through the heat vent you could see the ground. the walls were pushed in, tile coming up. After numerous talks and emails to Steve we finally had to move. He would not fix anything. He kept our deposit. Do not trust this man, he does not know how to run a bussiness and if you ever have any problems with ur home they will not be fixed!! he will cheat u out of ur money. Dont do it!!!!

We too moved to Western NC without having a real plan. True Anderson seemed nice enough and at first we felt lucky to have found a place so quickly. The apt itself was ok...it was not clean, but we weren't too worried about that. Everything was in mostly working order. The trouble started with neighbors. A family of 3 moved in. The husband/stepdad and 15 year old would get into screaming, profanity ridden fights in the parking lot at all hours of the day and night that would result in the police arriving. The son would bang on the doors. One Saturday night a fight erupted after the 15 year old drank an entire case of beer bought for him by the stepdad who was out in the parking lot yelling at the kid about how he'll never buy the kid beer again since the kid was stupid. The kid is screaming obscenities at the stepdad and then vomits all over the parking lot, his stoop and his neighbors' patio furniture, ruining it. A month later the kid STABBED his stepdad with a kitchen knife in the parking lot. We called Steve Anderson and told him what was going on...that we good tenants could no longer live in this environment and Steve told us they were under eviction already. But two months later the family had not budged AND the rest of the tenants received a rent INCREASE. Then we found out from the neighbors who lived above the derelicts' apartment that the stepdad was an old buddy of Steve Andersons! They had never been under eviction! When we called to complain (about the fact that he basically wants to raise the rent to pay for his terrible business decision of letting his friend live in this apartment and how he lied to us) we spoke with Steve who flipped his lid, I mean SCREAMING and told us that he didn't have to give us any more notice and doesn't have to explain his decisions. This is true...and as it turned out, he doesn't have to give us a full 30 days notice before increasing the rent, only 7 days. But that also means that according to NC law, we only had to give him 7 days notice to move out...and that's what we did. And guess what? After moving into their dirty apartment, putting up with those terrible trashy neighbors and being one of the only tenants to to pay our rent on time...and leaving the apartment cleaner than we found it, did they give us back our deposit? Nope. We gave our notice in writing, and waited 30 days for them to give it back or provide an itemized list of why they were withholding our deposit...it never came. Finally, 4 months later I was fed up. We AGAIN called the office and again Steve wouldn't even let us speak. We told him we had contacted our lawyer and were entitled to our $ back. His response? "I've got so many lawyers I don't even know what to do with them! I know what I can and can't do! You can't threaten me!" Turns out he didn't know squat because it was only after explaining our situation to the only reasonable person there (I can't remember the girl's name but she was not related to the Andersons. Oh...and True, the one with whom we had always dealt with, was never to be heard from again. Steve decided that we weren't allowed to speak to her again. She needed a lying bully like her son Steve to do the dirty work) and telling her our story (Steve actually picked up the phone to scream at me again while I was speaking to this other girl!!) including the impending small claims case we were filing that we got anywhere. First she told us that True and Steve had said that we didn't give proper notice and that's why they withheld our deposit, then they tried to say that we didn't leave the place clean. I told her that I had the NC statute with my rights plus pictures of how we left the apartment but didn't actually need either of those things because they forfeited their right to withhold the deposit by not sending us the itemized list. Bottom line: We got our deposit back, but only after that slimy, lying, SOB tried everything he could to keep it from us. He is a predator who does less than the minimum and then counts on intimidation to violate people's rights. I am sure he expected that we would just go away and not pursue getting our deposit back, but he was wrong!
I don't care how desperate you are to find a place to live...if you rent from Triple A Properties, as long as it is under ownership by the Andersons, you will regret it.
