Hillbilly's Bbq & Steaks

I couldn't find the Cramerton location, which is absolutely great. Every time I eat there i end up eating wayyyy too much. There smoked pork is about the best I have eaten. The sauce is not over powering s you can still taste the meat flavor. Highly recommended, except during Christmas time, as it is almost impossible to get in and out.

Recently had lunch at the new Tyvola location in Charlotte.
WOW!!! The food was great (better than expected) The only small complaint would be the fries were not as hot as they should have been.
The portions were perfect for lunch.
The pricing is very reasonable and the service was good.
We have out of state visitors coming this weekend and will take them to Hillbilly's to experience BBQ.

Their Pork BBQ is excellent! The Hush Puppies are to die for and I never really like them any where else. Every time I go in there it is packed, they are busy!

I LOVE their chopped BBQ, hush pupies and fries. You can get it with or without sauce, or even Eastern if you like it that way. Service is great, restaurants are clean and you can call ahead and get take out or order it at the door and it doesn't take long.

I love their chopped bbq, and I would highly recommend it to anybody wanting great bbq. It is not as good as Lexington bbq (but what is?) They also have a salad bar at the Lowell location! (I can't remember about this one).

This is a total, country dining experience, in the city. The staff is casual, friendly, and well trained. The ribs are wonderful, as is the chopped pork. Their steaks are done to your liking and seem to be of good quality. The baked sweet potatoes are just like at home. I would definately recommend this restaurant.
