Bridges Barbecue Lodge Incorporated

My husband is from Shelby, so we visit often. I love to stop by Bridges when we're in town. The BBQ is great and the staff is friendly. I love the BBQ tray. It has all the 'fixins' and is more food than I can ever eat.

Their barbecue is delicious and they have perfected everything you need to go with it! The food has been the same high quality for as long as I can remember. Each plate or sandwich is made to order. Stop by and give them a try, but be sure to go early. If they run out, they close!

This restaurant specializes in BBQ, and there is no other BBQ restaurant in town that even comes close to meeting the standards set forth by this restaurant. The sandwiches are served in foil wrappers, but they are NOT premade. They are made to order. You can ask for a paper plate if you wish, but most people use the foil as their plate.

Most orders are for the BBQ plates, and not the sandwiches.

Service is usually good.

Most people in this area consider this the best of the best. Many celebrities have eaten here as well.

The last time I went was as great as ever. I try to go every week, and sometimes it is two or three times a week.
