This was the worst Italian food!! Real small portions.Tasted like it was frozen food heated up.The pizza was so thin and hard as a rock. The waitress never came back.Very rude. The cook was rude and rushed us out.I will never go back.

I have eaten at Amalfi's several times and for some reason I have always had the luck of being served by the same woman who has the most awful personality I think I have ever encountered in any restaurant in my life. She is downright rude and gives you a lot of attitude. On several occasions she has made me feel rushed and that she would prefer to be doing a million other things than provide service to me. The owners however are very lovely people and the food is fantastic, but this one particular server (i think she might be the daughter of the owners) ruins the whole experience for me. I really love the food so I think in the future I will order my food to go so that I do not have my entire evening ruined by a miserable, disrespectful server.

Pros: Very good and authentic Pizza and Pasta

Cons: Waitress with a major attitude problem

This is our go to Italian restaurant in Charlotte. The owners are great and if you're lucky enough you'll be there on the night where she makes her homemade Tiramisui!

I LOVE Amalfi! I've been eating here since I moved to Charlotte. This is real, authentic Italian food. The pasta is imported from Italy. The prices are reasonable and the food is delicious. You gotta try it.

I've been eating here since they opend 15 year ago. Great authentic family owed Italian restaurant. Don't just go for the pizza. Try the pasta and the weekend specials. Delicious! My family compares all other Italian restaurants against Amalfi's and we have not found one that even comes close.

Small, cozy and delicious. Those are a few words that come to mind when I think of Amalfi Pasta 'n Pizza. The owners are definitely Italian and they know how to cook. They have an awesome meatball sandwich and great pizza. If you haven't tried it, why not?

The pizza here is delicious and since it's a small family owned place that is the exact feel you get from the staff and owners when you go in. It may be a little longer of a food wait, but that is because the food is fresh and hot when it's served. Delicious!

happened upon this place accidentally while looking for Harris Teeter. Went in to order some food to go. The owner was very funny, and welcoming. I was laughing the entire time I was ordering. When I got home, and eat dinner, it was delicious!! Food was well prepared and packed, and absolutely wonderful. I just called and made another order to go right now. I would defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking for good food, and good service. GREAT PLACE!!

My family has been going there for years. It is wonderful. Love the ziti bolognese. Lunch is great price for so much food. Just wish they were not so stingy with the bread. Would recommend to everyone.

This family owned Italian restaraunt makes you feel like you are at Grandma's house. The staff is kind and courteous and the food is delicious. I have tried pizza, pasta and sandwiches. My favorite sandwich is the meatball sandwich. The bread is incredible. The pizza is terrific. I have tried both thin crust and sicilian. I prefer the sicilian, but I love bread. They have great deserts. If you miss good, Italian, homecooking, try Amalfi Pasta N Pizza. I don't think you will be disappointed.

If you want a true New York Pizzeria you'll love Amalfi's. If you love real pizza and calzones you have to give it a try. Absolutely the best pizza in Charlotte maybe even in NC and SC. It is a great place to take the kids for a meal you can all enjoy. I recommend going early or calling a head if you have a large group because it is always busy. And if you cant wait get it to go it is worth it!

While Alamfi's undoubtedly has one of the finest Sicilian (square, thick) pizzas in Charlotte, getting it the way you want it will cost you as all toppings are a'la carte (same with Portofino's & Nichi's). Getting reasonable service here is a crap shoot. On two occasions dining alone I walked out because I was never served. On one occasion with my wife, we walked out for the same reason. Ditto on no bottomless drinks; another example of how you can get nickel and dimed here.\n\nFood is great; Service SUCKS; kinda pricey.

Amalfi's has the best pizza in Charlotte if not even the Carolina's. They also have a variety of other delicious italian favorites. With a family environment that is hard to find these days. Stop by and try it out for yourself.

being 18, and a college student, pizza's a frequent meal, the only thing that I disagree with is that Amalfi's is #8, instead of #1

Great atmosohere and even better food. A family place that makes you feel a part of the family. This is a New York pizza lover that knows good pizza, and Amalfi's is the best pizza in town. Even better than most places in NY. This place is a real find. Get some today. Mike the owner is a blast. He'll sit down and make you feel welcome.

Not only is this the absolut best pizza to have ever been tossed in the south. It also has a great menu to boot. The recipes of Mrs. Olympia will have you begging for more room to taste the great variety.\n\nOrder the Quattro Formagio and let your heart sizzle on the steaming mass of cheese and herb.\n\nThat's Amore!!!

I can't say enough good about Amalfi. This restaurant was my absolute favorite place to eat, when I lived in Charlotte. It's a tiny restaurant, but it's big on taste and charm. The recipe's are authentic, mostly coastal Italian cuisine. I recommend the Zuppa di Pesce.

Authentic Italian in a modest setting. This is truly a hidden jewel in Charlotte. Try the ""Penne Arrabiata"" if you like pasta with a little kick(literally translated-""Angry Pasta"") or ""Chicken Vino Bianca,"" a tender breast filet in a tasty light wine sauce. Pizza.....NO CONTEST!!!!! Hands down, best in Town! Cheese is shredded on site, toppings are hand cut and cooked each day. No canned stuff here. Everything fresh, every day...including fresh baked bread and extremely reasonable $$$$.
