My husband and I have been bringing our cars to Waverly Tires for the past 8 years and had very good service until now. We had our brakes replaced on May 31, 2007. On the drive home we noticed the brakes were squeaking loudly. I returned to Waverly 3 days later and asked them to fix the squeak. They refused to acknowledge hearing any squeaks as I test drove and I clearly heard it. I thought that was strange they would argue it. They did nothing to fix it. It was clearly squeaking and continued when I left. My husband brought the vehicle back 2 days later and found Waverly Tires closed up and gone. Building emptied out!!! We ( 1 of their loyal customers) were scammed!!!!!! Now we are stuck with having to go to a dealership and pay more money to get the squeak fixed or maybe found out that Waverly did a bad brake job altogether! We're very angry with Waverly Tires Inc.

I brought my 2001 camry car for e-brake adjustment. Before the mechanic drove my car into the garage, I showed the mechanic and the cable was good. I know it??s good. It just needs adjustment to hold when the inspector speed with the emergency brake pulled up. The mechanic drove the car into the garage. The woman told me it probably takes 30 minutes. I went to have my lunch and went back to check the status after almost 30 minutes. I stood in the lobby and looked into the garage. The owner was in the office. The woman was talking to the owner. I waved to her and asked her if my car is ready. She talked to the owner. She told me my car wasn??t started yet. What? So I asked how much longer. I sensed something wrong happened from the facial expression of the owner and the woman. The owner said probably 10 more minutes. The owner ordered the mechanic what to do from his office. So I waited for another 10 minutes. At end of 10 minutes, owner came out of the office and told me it??s ready but the cable was broken. I was wondering how did they do the adjustment in 10 minutes. It seems they hold something when I asked. I checked the brake and found out the brake is different. Before it went to the garage, you have to push the brake button to pull it up. But after the work, the brake stick became loose. The next day, May 16, I went back Goodyear. Then I found out the cable was broken during the adjustment work. I asked the repair done since they broke the cable. The acting manager said she couldn??t make the decision; she called the owner and left message. She said the owner was in court and won??t be back until 2PM. I stayed a while and went home. I called at 2PM and was told the owner wasn??t in. I asked for the mechanic??s name, which drove my car into the garage, but the acting manager refused to tell me the mechanic??s name. I called again and was told the owner not in yet. I called after 4PM and was told the owner still not in. The service manager said the owner would call me when he came in, but he didn??t. After I fixed up dinner for my family, I headed to Goodyear. The woman told me the owner came in around 4PM. I talked to the owner, delivered the request repair letter and the inspection document of the cable was ok. But the owner refused to take the responsibility to repair. I called police to be the witness.

I'm a multi-repeat customer of Waverly Tire. They install aftermarket suspension components on all of my project cars. Install prices are normal and they've always done a good job. They've also inspected my cars several times without any problems.

We have used this business for a variety of car needs and have been only partially happy. The service done on my husband's truck was satisfactory and well priced. However, when I took my own car for an inspection I had to wait nearly 2 hours and was forced by buy windsheild wiper blades from them in order to pass inspection. The blades were overpriced and wore out quickly. While the workers were friendly, we do not plan to take our vehicles here in the future.
