My boyfriend ordered a specific flower arrangement for me for our anniversary (it has become a tradition to get this particular arrangement). Kaylynne's said they had what he requested, and the order was placed. When my boyfriend saw that what was delivered to me was not what he ordered, they told him that they later realized they didn't have what he requested in stock after all, but instead of calling him back and telling him (so he could place the order with a florist who did), they substituted the missing plants with different ones, and sent the order out anyway (hoping he wouldn't see the flowers, and notice, I assume). Even though they had clearly chosen not to notify him in order to keep his money, I heard him be extremely polite and patient on the phone with them, but they deferred him over 3 separate phone calls and only offered a 15% refund in the end. For $120 worth of flowers on such a special day, and having to work the mistake out over multiple phone calls, it really warranted at least a 50%, if not full refund. The whole thing felt dishonest and certainly marred the occasion.
