Best food on Town. My kids love it, they have trains set up in the window with all different kinds of horns. The food is excellent and it won't put a whole in your pocket. Saturday mornings for the best breakfast in town!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wonderful little mom and pop restaurant. Good old fashioned home cooking and great family atmosphere and low prices. Where else can you get bacon, eggs and a drink for under $5.00.

They also have other "creations" that you won't find anywhere else as well as Pittsburgh favorites like "chipped ham"

Love it love it love it and I've made it a regular Saturday morning routine for years.

I eat breakfast here some Saturdays and have always found the food to be outstanding and the wait-staff friendly and eager to please. The prices are a great bargain, and they even give my father a veteran??s discount on top of that. The atmosphere is reminiscing of times gone by, and I always meet interesting people there. The only drawback is the ??do not park here?? signs that the adjoining business have posted every six-inches along the store front, so you might have to park across the street and walk over?. The walk will do you good though with the generous portions that you??ll have at the Border.

Pros: Reasonable Prices & Great Food

Cons: Parking

.

Filthy place with smoke-faced nasty hags for waitresses.
Food is cheap, but you get what you pay for. Always cigarette smoke in the air as the owner runs around in a tee-shirt and dirty sweat pants, and there is a layer of greasy grime on every surface. STAY AWAY!!

I used to love going to the Border but not anymore. Order was prepared poorly and staff was rude and argumentative. I will never go back. An omelet has cheese melted inside not cold and on the top.

THE BORDER IS A GREAT PLACE TO EAT. WE MOVED TO THE AREA FROM VERMONT AND WHEN WE FOUND THIS PLACE WE THOUGHT IT WAS GREAT. THE FOOD IS YUMMY AND THE PRICES ARE GREAT. THE STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY AND VERY PROMPT TO WAIT ON YOU. IF YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN TO THE BORDER GIVE IT A TRY IT'S WELL WORTH IT.
