From Lucky 32's eclectic and unique menu and decor to our culture of community service, we are a different sort of restaurant company. You'll feel comfortable dressed casually, duded up for a business meeting, or decked out for a date. And for those times when you're busy and can't wait for a table, Luck 32 offers Call-Ahead Seating and Reservations (though reservations are not always necessary). When the weather is pleasant, dine outdoors at our restaurant. If you want to dine at home, give us a call to place your order, pull into a designated parking place and we'll bring your order to your car. We are great for picnics, tailgate parties and business lunches.

Need a Special Dinner Out?

by Jen H. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 2,349

Lucky 32 is the place for you! They have a unique menu that includes everything from BBQ Johnnycakes to sweet potato hushpuppies to the traditional southern fav- fried green tomatoes! Check out their menu online, becuase it changes seasonally. The atmosphere is quiet and romantic and they do not rush you through dinner. Call ahead for reservations or be prepared for a wait that is totally worth it!

Kudos to all the Quaintance-Weaver Family

by meleia w. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 12,782

I have been to Lucky's and Green valley Grill and stayed @ the O'Henry all part of the Same chain and all equally WONDERFUL! I was once and employee of Lucky 32 while in college in the kitchen. Eveything when I was there was done by hand and fresh down to hand cut and toasted croutons! go go go to anything affliated with the Quaintance-Weaver Family 2 thumbs up

Great Food! Great Service!

by Karen S.

We have NEVER been disappointed with the taste or quality of the food. The menu has both a changing section (by season) and some standard selections. Everything we have ordered has been great.

The current chef is from New Orleans and was trained there. If you get the chance to try the red beans and rice or jambalaya when they are on the menu - grab the opportunity - the flavor is what it should be - flavorful without the usual overdose of cayenne (which some seem to think is authentic and is not). Everything else he fixes is excellently prepared.

The service is excellent, too with a wait-staff that is well-trained and personable. The managers make sure that everything is going smoothly.

This is our family's favorite restaurant - hands down!

by Eddie W. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 4,488

Lucky 32 is a casual dining restaurant that feels like "more" without being stuffy. Every dish I've had here has been well-prepared and delicious. It's a great place for a special occasion, especially a date night with your better half.

A great place to go

by Lisa W. | insider_guru Insider Guru | Rank: 670

One of the reasons we enjoy going to Lucky 32 is that part of the menu changes with the seasons. You can try new things all of the time there. Actually, one of my favorites is on the everyday menu. It' s the delta penne, with shrimp, tasso ham, chicken, bourbon cream sauce, and pecans, oh my! You'd think it would be overly expensive, but it's not. You probably won't spend more than you would in a chain like O'Charley's or TGIFriday's, but you'll enjoy it so much more. The restaurant is spacious and airy, the employees are well trained and very attentive and the menu is creative and somewhat elegant. Try it, you won't be disappointed

Definitely a favorite of mine!

by Lynda W. | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 5,161

Lucky 32's is one of my favorite restaurants in Greensboro. It is locally owned. To be honest, I probably lived in Greensboro for a few years before going to Lucky 32's. From the outside (and the inside decor), it appeared to be an "out-of-my-price-range" restaurant. My husband and I saved our pennies and decided to splurge one Valentine's Day. Only to find out that the $150 we had to blow on dinner was too much money! We ordered an appetizer, drinks, dinners, AND dessert. We had enough money for the bill AND the tip AND to go to the movies. We didn't know that the prices were reasonable. I would say you can find entrees that are comparable in price to Applebee's -- but will taste so much better than Applebee's food. Their menu is never 100% the same. About 1/2 of their menu stays the same all year long. Every 2-3 months, the other 1/2 of the menu changes. The changing part of the menu revolves around themes throughout the year. The last theme of the year is usually "This year's favorite dishes" -- that is when they bring back the best of the best from the past year's menu. My favorite dish ever -- and unfortunately it is on their themed menu (usually in the fall) so not available all year long -- is their pumpkin ravioli. If you ever see it on the menu, order it. Talk about DIVINE food! My mouth is watering just thinking about it. Wonderfully clean restaurant. Friendly staff. Looks like a 5 star restaurant both inside and out -- but you'd be AOK dining there in casual work attire.

PROS: food food food: quality, taste, variety, price
CONS: none
