I have been bringing my business to Ed since 2005. I have never had any problems or complaints with WTA. They do repairs, and all maintenance issues. They are trust worthy and dependable. They have serviced my Crossfire, My Xb, My Jetta, My Lincoln without any problems. Ed is straightforward and doesn't hemhaw around. If it's broken he'll fix it. If it's not he will tell you there is nothing to fix. He does have some of the best prices in tires. He will even let you drop ship tires from online and install them for you. I have always been the type of person who doesn't trust mechanics. I have always done my own work and have done it for over 30 years. I never worry when Ed has my car. I am proud that WTA is my neighborhood garage. (I am a healthcare provider and have not been asked to endorse or post this review)

I asked to get a diagnosis on my Jeep. The abs light was on and I did not feel like crawling around under the car so I thought they could scan it for me and tell me where the problem is. So I see Dean and he says he can do that for me. I come back and he tells me that there is a recall on my car and if I take it to Jeep Chrysler they will fix it for free. I say that sounds good and ask if they can give me a general description of the problem so I can tell the factory what the problem is. He says they will know what it is and to just go down there. So I hand over my $70 for the diagnosis and head to Jeep. They tell me there is no recall on my car. I head back to Wrighsboro and I talk to Dean again. He calls Jeep and finds out himself that there was no recall. I ask what they did for $70 so I don't have to recheck everything my self and he does not know. Dean goes and talks to the mechanic and then informs me that they did nothing because their scan tool does not fit the plug on a Jeep/Chrysler. I ask for my money back and he says he has to talk to Ed. I am offered a cheque for $50 but they could not do it straight away. I had to come back. Forget that! For $50 to see those guys again, it was not worth it. I am disgusted with the way they just take your money and are not concerend with looking after customers.
I have two friends who used to go here as well. One was told he had a leaking rear main seal. He asked if they were sure and they assured him that it was the rear main. They quoted about $800 from memory. He went and had a second evaluation done at a different shop off Gordon Rd. $600 for the job but when they looked at it they cleaned everything so they could see what was going on and it was just a loose oil filter which Wrightsboro had installed. So they did not charge anything.
This same guy had another car there they snapped off the stud on the wheel when they were doing a free rotation. He could only assume that they over torqued the nuts previously with a rattle gun since nobody else worked on his cars.
Never go to these guys unless you want bad work shady work practices and charged extra for the privileged.

this guy is nothing but a rip off plain and simple wirting his own review. what he tells you the price is is not the price once the tires and oil change was done he tryed to hit me up for 135.00 dollars more than the orginal quote. not to mention they used a air gun on my oil drain plug stripping it out then had the gall to charge me for fixing something he screwed up in the first place. i would reccomend anyone even walmart before going here again. even jiffy lube could have done a better job take your car somewhere else even to the guy working out of his garage you would stand a better chance of it being done right

Last week I made an appointment for an alignment on my 88 Chevy C1500 at Wrightsboro Tire & after I paid the $55.00 they told me the truck needed a camber kit (about $50.00) to adjust the pass side wheel and it would be another $75.00 or so to install them. They also said I had a 6 month free tweak just in case something happened to the alignment during that time so I said no problem, just order the parts so I can get the truck fixed right. The alignment guy looked up the parts & said because the truck was so old the parts werent available but said he could try to remove the factory washers & move the bolts around without the camber kit to get the alignment right. I didn't like that idea so he told me I could try to find the parts myself online & I had two weeks to bring the truck back to get the alignment redone. Before I left the he also gave me the print out of the alignment & since I've been a mechanic / machinist all my life I inquired about the numbers. He explained the toe was off pretty bad & he was only able to adjust the toe until the camber kit was installed. In my years of experience with alignment shops they NEVER mess with the alignment until ALL the parts that are bad get replaced. Anyway, he said the toe was off really bad and he re-set it to + 0.5 degrees on each side which translates into about 1/4" toe out on each wheel or 1/2" toe out overall. That put up a red flag for me because the toe is NEVER set out 1/4" per side!! its set about 1/32" ~ 1/16" TOE IN per side. I got in the truck & on the way home I immediately noticed it drove worse than before wandering all over the road. This in itself made me VERY hesitant to even take the truck back to them for the re-alignment.

Anyway, I found the kit and ordered it myself then re-scheduled the appointment for the following week. I had the kit by the weekend & since it was very easy to install I just put it in myself which took about 1 1/2 hours. After I had dropped the truck off early that morning I found I had a voice mail asking if I still wanted the alignment done because the parts were already installed. I call back & get Chuck on the phone so I ask him whats going on with the truck? His response was that they were suppose to get the parts and install them then they would do the alignment for free. I explained that when I was there I was told the parts were not available & I should get them myself so since I bought the parts I put them in. His matter or fact reply was "since we didn't get the parts & install them you are going to have to pay another $55.00 for the alignment. I again explained that I was told that YOU couldn't get the parts so how were you going to install them? This went back and forth until he got another guy on the phone who was either the owner or manager but equally ignorant and said that IF I paid them for the parts or at least paid them to put them on THEN they would have re-done the alignment for free. Since I bought the parts & put them in myself I had to pay again. I finally told him that either they re-do the alignment which they didn't and couldn't do properly the first time or I'd just come get my truck and never come back there again. To this his response was "are you going to pay for the alignment"?? (Spoken like a true mental patient) I told him I'll be down to get my truck.

When I went inside to get my keys I talked with the mental patient again just to be sure that I had all the facts straight & sure enough this business would rather lose a customer for life than do the right thing & redo an alignment that they had charged me for and never completed.

The happy ending to this story is that after I left that place I went a mile up the road to TADLOCKS& had the alignment done there. When I showed them the alignment sheet they laughed & said "noone ever puts the tow out 1/4" on each side, the truck will be all over the road..." & it was. To make matters worse Tadlocks found that the pitman arm was completely worn out & that was causing the streering to feel loose. Its just nice to know that Wrightsboro tire didn't even bother to check for any worn out steering parts on the vehicle before doing an alignment not to mention doing an alignment on a vehicle BEFORE the camber kit was even installed & charging me for it. After the alignment was completed they TEST DROVE the truck three times something Wrightsboro tire didn't even do once. They even adjusted my steering box & made sure everything was just the way it was suppose to be. I was so happy with the service I even had them rotate the tires to save me the trouble of having to do it this weekend.

I just want to say Good Work to the guys at Wrightsboro tire I'll be sure to NOT recommend everyone I know to go to your business in the future

So just remember, when you see Wrightsboro tire just keep driving about a mile up the road and you'll see Tadlocks on the left

Be sure to ask for Mike, he WILL take good care of you & your vehicle
