This is the best place around. It is one of the only truly southern garages left. The owner, Terry, is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He doesn't try to take advantage of you, he's honest about the problem with your car and his rates are below others. I will never take my car anywhere else.

I have been taking my business to these guys for years. Low surprise factor. Reasonable rates. Good at diagnosing problems. Good at fixing problems. (and I'm a BoSox Fan)

I have known Terry (owner) for over 6 years, and he is the most honest person you would ever meet. He let's you know exactly what is wrong (if anything), how much it is going to be, how long it's going to take - and imagine, does not try to "adjust your headlights" or add on any additional charges like most car repair shops do to us (especially to women). I HIGHLY recommend his services over every other car shop in the state.

My first experience with Terry at People's was when my 94 Corolla wouldn't start. He kept it for 2 days, drove it often and couldn't find a problem with it. I had him change the oil and there were no other charges.

I repeatedly take my cars to him for their service. He never treats me like a "girl" and never tries to sell us services we don't need.

An honest mechanic is hard to come by-- and they are top-notch!
