To put it bluntly this school's incompetence is dangerous. Rampant bullying and teasing, which the students have learned from the actions of the administrators and teachers themselves!

The exhibit a typical condescending and arrogant attitude we have come to expect from our public schools. "Do not question, just shut-up and go away," seems to be their motto.

If this is the school you are assigned to, I would strongly recommend putting off that new car purchase and pay for a private school. In the long run it will be cheaper than the damage this school will do to your child!

There are many very good teachers at this school and Mr. Meyer - a guidance councilor there is the best thing going for this school. The administration is the worst. The principal back- stabs both her teachers as well as her support staff and undermines the success of the school by pitting these two groups of staff against each other by talking badly about them to parents. She wholeheartedly supports her sports teams and ignores her successful arts and academic students. She rarely attends music performances, skipped out on the beta club inductions, and attended only one of three honor roll recognition ceremonies for the sixth graders. She makes racially inflammatory remarks about her own people and makes sure that any one who cares enough to fight for their rights is put down in any way she can. She is more concerned with dress code than she is with fighting and bullying. She fosters gang activity by allowing certain students to claim territory and punishes those who encroach upon that territory. She blames problems on the diversity of the population she serves. She calls students derogatory names to their face and talks about individuals to other parents, violating their right to privacy. She makes no effort to get to know her students and doesn't even know the names of those who represent the school in the most positive way. This woman is on a major power trip and pushes the envelope of professionalism in some of the worst ways possible.

This school can't get any worse. Education for the Arts is neglected and most focus is on the sports teams, which are terrible. The teachers are ok, but the administration is horrible, especially the pricipal, Elaine Hanzer. She called one student a Bad Citizen to her face for standing up for herself. No one takes care of the fights and bad behavior, and more focus is on gum chewing than gang behavior, which there is a lot of.

WF-Rolesville Middle School is great! I have Never had any trouble with the Staff. I feel my Kids get the best education they can from the school. A five Star Area for Parents!!

PROS: Great Teachers!!
CONS: Need a bigger pick up and drop off area

, Have had some issue with these people, But they do have a GREAT rep for schools, Location isnt too bad its in Wake forest of NC, off the road, but traffic dose get backed up, They seem not to know what to do about pick up and drop off. Teacheres are ok. Some seem WAY to stricked when it comes to younger kids, Nice and big classrooms and labs, But just wanst happy with them so we left . But for a public school they are known in Raleigh as one of the tops for there Sports and other activietys .
