Of all my agents from California, Florida, Pennsylvania and Ohio, Stephen Kent has assisted me with more troubling claims and less hassle. From a stolen class ring, to a hail-damaged roof, to a tree falling on the house, to a few fender benders ....he made life a lot easier.

He has helped my wife and daughter when I was travelling and not available for them. He even assisted my daughter when she was new to Atlanta and unable to locate a trustworthy agent or repair shop.

He was always available to speak directly with me when I called his office. If not then, he would even return my calls after hours, or on weekends. It didn't matter where I was physically at the time.

I have referred him to my elderly neighbors, my daughter's friends, and my own professional associates. In every case, they have thanked me for the wonderful assistance they have received directly, or from his very experienced staff.

And I just expected them to be thanking me for saving them on their previous premiums or replacing an agent that was never in their office.

I had been a customer of Stephen W. Kent's Insurance Agency for over twenty years when I called the office to ask for a loan on my policy. I'm disabled and was broke. Stephen Kent offered cash instead, if I would allow myself to be photographed. I said no. The ensuing actions I endured were unprofessional, unethical and caused a long-term personal crisis for my family and I.

My policy is with State Farm who informed me that they took my complaint about my agent's behavior seriously and that he has been officially warned.

I take serious issue with the behavior I endured. I've since moved my insurance policy to a different agent, but I will never again walk into the door of a State Farm agency unless it is absolutely crucial to my policy.

Stephen Kent never apologized to me or my family for his actions.

I had trusted Stephen as my agent. I viewed him as an elder and sought out his advice over the years. I remain disappointed and truly stunned that a professional/friend would behave in such a manner as I witnessed with Mr. Kent.

Professionals should act professionally and have his or her customer's best interests in mind. My experience with this agent was altogether horrible, yet like other customers, I too had many good things I could have said about this agent until he crossed the lines of professionalism and came to my home with a personal agenda.

I would not recommend this agency to others, particularly not to females. I do not take this review lightly. It is not only important for the public to know when customers are satisfied, but also when customers have been poorly treated and especially mistreated.

They were really great at answering my questions, and helping me choose the best insurance for me and my needs. The office was small and had a comfortable feel to it. The manger came out and spoke to me. The customer service was just great.
