In 2014 after being a Nationwide customer for many years we had some issues with Nationwide's billing. My credit card information we gave to Nationwide expired. The Nationwide web site said for security reasons we could not update my billing information, but we could give our credit card information over the phone and that would be secure. That is when we talked to James's office where they were happy to take my credit card information over the phone and keep it on file. We decided to find a better insurance company with a better billing system. We had to wait until our home insurance and auto insurance policy date to change insurance. We filed the proper documents to cancel our policy when it was about to expire. The next month we receive a bill from Nationwide. It seems like the billing did not stop on our auto policy. We contacted James's office many times and was insured that the billing had stopped. Yesterday we received a letter from a collection company for an auto policy that was supposed to be cancel. We tried to call James's office but no one would return our calls. We had to call the Nationwide Corporate office to fix the issue. If James's office is the model of Nationwide's customer service, we will not see Nationwide in business in the future.
