Felkner Mary M Md - Eastover Pediatrics

I can't say enough good things about Eastover Pediatrics, especially Dr. Mary Bledsoe Felkner. I've had at least one child as a patient there for the past 27 years. My children have seen all the doctors at least once during this time and they have all been extremely professional, but at the same time, warm and very personable. My children never minded going to see the doctor even when they were very young. I've never felt rushed or unimportant there. Their simply the best pediatrics practice in Charlotte.

All three of my kids are patients of Eastover Pediatrics. I have not had a bad experience. Whenever I needed a sick appointment, my children were seen the same day.

Doctors are not really personable. If you are taking your child in for a sick appointment and you have to see any doctor, that is not your main doctor...it's even worse. They are very cold, impersonal, lack giving information, and make you feel as if they are trying to get you out of there as fast as possible. Do not give you the opportunity to ask questions because they make you feel like you need to get out fast.

On the other hand, why I stay there is because Jan Rapisardo, RN, PNP is awesome! She is so caring, very informative, remembers everything about your child, and just make you feel like you have the most special child on earth. Thank you for being the caring care giver that you are! God bless You!

(WRONG NAME: This review is for Eastover Peds.) This pediatric practice is staffed with good doctors, who appear to be current on the latest advice from the AAP. The office itself is in a convenient, central location. The only downside may be its popularity. With so many patients, the appointment staff seems a bit frazzled and the time spent in the waiting room can be too long.

PROS: Doctors you can trust.
CONS: Too much time spent waiting.
