This Monterrey is much better than the other location in Winston Salem. The food is better and the wait staff is much more polite. There are, however, other Mexican restaurants in the city that have better food and service.

The only time we've ate here wasn't as good as I was expecting. Unlike the two other reviews I didn't find the food to be very good or the service and the place was a little dirty

I really liked my meal at Monterrey's. I got the chimichanga and it was very good. Served with guacamole and sour cream. Their salsa is good with lots of cilantro. Chips could be a little saltier but that's my only complaint. Service was fast and friendly.

I was so excited when I went to Winston Salem for work and I found a Monterrey's. I know I can always find something there that I like for not a lot of money. It is also a good place for lunch because they get bring your food pretty quickly.
