Captains Cove

Now this is Minot, ND and I prefer Long John Silvers, but Captains Cove is almost as good food-wise. My Mom tells me the family has been in business here for a long long time, prior to Captains Cove it was called Joeys, because it was a different franchise. The best thing is that they have the best waitstaff of any restaurant in Minot. They remember you, and are so friendly and outgoing. The food is always hot, good, and fast. The person who wrote that review in 2005 must have been either really picky or eating at a different place. I've been eating here since before then and never had an experience like that. Captain's Cove is consistently good and a good value for the money.

Super food, Great service, clean and fast. The most outstanding attribute is the wait staff who remember you from one or two visits and try very hard to anticipate your needs. Friendly, without being intrusive this seafood spot is almost just like home. I have lived in Guam, Hawaii, California and Texas. I know seafood and I recommend this spot very highly.

PROS: Fast, accurate service with great taste!
CONS: I want to eat here all the time!

I went to this resturant and was very dissapointed. The service was crappy and the food wasn't all that great. The fish I ate I tasted alot of grease in it and felt pretty sick afterward. I also had to wait forever for my food, my husband got his food before I even recieved mine and they messed up my order.
