My family has been going to the Airport Animal Hospital since the late 70's when we moved to Fargo. We have had 2 dogs and 5 cats over the years. Currently Imy parents have a cat and I have a cat (brothers) and they are 11 yrs old. So needless to say we have been brining them here for 11 years. The service I received the other day was less than impressive. the gal behind the counter spoke to me as if I was 6 yrs old and told ne that the pill was an antibiotic and the cream was for pain. I asked if there was something for inflamation (because that's what the vet told me she was going to give him, along with an antibiotic) instead of answering my question she just repeated herself (with an attitude). So I rephrased and she again repeated herself. I asked again and she put me in the exam room to talk to the "doctor". As I waited for the "doctor" I could hear the gal behind the desk talking about me. Once the "doctor arrived I asked her if she was the one I spoke to on the phone she said she was. She had one hand on her hip and one on the exam table and a very condesending look. I simply stated "you said you were going to give him something for inflamation and an antibiotic". She then stated exactly what the gal from behind the counter said. So I asked " I thought you were going to give him something for inflamation", she rolled her eyes and said "THIS is for pain and inflamation!" I then stated, "that's all I was trying to figure out." I paid the bill and by the time I got over to my parents house I was so angry at how I was treated and for the lack of professionalism I wanted to call and tell them directly how horrible there service was. Instead I spoke to my parents and the said they have had about the same service the past couple times at the Airport Animal Hospital. They have just lost 2 customers. I have spoken with a handful of others as well who said that they will be switching vets as well.
And let me ask this.......If the "doctor" says my cat does not have an infection rather just inflamation then why is she prescribing him and antibiotic?

My family and I have gone to Airport Animal Hospital since before I was born. When I was five we got Sally our little cocker spanial poodle and just last summer we had to put her to sleep. Dr. Green gave our family the time we needed, and explained everything that would happen. After she passed, Dr. Green talked from the heart to her about how wonderful of a dog she had been for us and for her. We had a little homeade casket and her blanket she always used, Dr. Green wrapped our sally so lovingly to put her in. I am 25 now. When we first started seeing Dr. Green 20 years ago, Dr. Green was the new doctor, now my husband and I have a dog of our own and wouldn't bring him to anyone else. The prices are actualaly very affordable and everyone is very informed and let us know what to expect cost wise from the very beginning. Because I am a newlywed and on a budget, I looked around for a long time to check prices of other vets, but Dr. Green and her loving ways of taking care of our pets, was worth the little extra.

We have taken our Black Lab / Golden Retriever cross named Liebe since we got her 13 years ago. During those years she was very well taken care of during anything that came up. Early on she started loosing all her hair which worried us a lot, we were reassured by Dr Harvey that she had a thyroid problem which could be taken care of by medicine.Because of that we got to have a lot of good years with her. This month April 2009 we had to have her put down because of a tumor which developed on her spleen. All our options were given to us, we were given time to decide what we wanted to do and we knew what would happen on which ever way we had decided. The day we took her in was very tough on us, the staff knew that and were very kind in taking care of us along with our dog.Dr Harvey gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to her, and explained what would be happening. We were treated with respect and our pet was treated with the same respect. He showed that he cared when he cried right with us.I have all the respect in the world for Dr Harvey and would recommend him and the rest of the staff for any pet to be taken care of..

I've been going to Airport Animal Hospital for quite a few years, with 3 cats and 1 dog. Dr. Harvey excellent at taking a lot of time to visit with you, very knowledgeable and explains everything very, very well. I still remember my first pet I had to put to sleep, a 19 year old cat that was ill. The injection site is shaved, and after my cat, Max was gone to his new home, Dr. Harvey picked up some of Max's fur and told me to take it home. I thought that was so sweet. Dr. Green is also great, I can easily say all the staff in the clinic or kind, professional and knowledgeable. My old dog receives excellent care there, and his meds help him to continue living a happy life and the ability to still go on his walkies.
