Pinkerton A Louis Dvm - Pinkerton Animal Hospital

i highly recommend Pinkerton. I will reffer EVERYONE to them. I had a problem with my dog no other vet would see him because i didn't have the money at the time, Pinkerton told me to bring him down and they didn't just look at him they gave him a very intense exam and even sent me home with his meds! You don't find this anymore anywhere, an actual vet that cares that much for an animal they would help him with no money in hand. Thank you to all the staff at Pinkerton!

I would recommend all the vets here EXCEPT Scholz. I took my puppy in to the emergency vet and she was diagnosed with Parvo. Due to an Active Duty Military career and things such as deployments we were unable to take the puppy in for the entirety of her vaccinations and i stepped out of the examination room to ask for paper towels and she was shouting at the tech about how we were killing our dog and not taking care of her. Then I asked the vet about the conversation and she had the same attitude and snapped at me saying I didn't hear what I heard and how we should have taken better care of our dog. We usually take our pets to Solemsaas and he is the best!

Excellent veterinary clinic...knowledgeable and responsive staff and kind, respectful regard for 4-footed patients and owners. I have worked in several veterinary clinics as a technician and was extremely impressed with this clinic! A+++

I have been very pleased with the level of care provided by Dr. Pinkerton and his staff. They are always friendly-- despite being extremely busy, they definitely go that extra mile!

Pinkerton Animal Hospital is amazing. We went on a trip home to visit family & came back to Minot with two puppies. our first day home, we put our puppies in a bathroom & put a baby gate up while we went grocery shopping. when we came back,one of the puppies got excited to see us, jumped up & caught her foot in a hole in the baby gate & and then wasn't walking right. We called up Pinkertons and they told us to bring her in right away. they did 'dental' xrays to make the cost cheaper for us (never heard of any vet doing anything to make the bill cheaper before), explained all the different options we had, and told us that since she was so young, if they wrapped it in a cast, it could just grow back together, and they also explained that it could not work, but giving it a shot could possible save us money in the long run. unfortunately it didn't work so surgery was a must. they called us to tell us when out pup was going into surgery, and again as soon as she can out of surgery, answered any & all questions that i bombarded them with, and called every few weeks for a couple of months to see how her leg was doing. If I still lived there, That would be the only vet i ever go to! I highly recommend them!

I have never taken my pets else where, and never will. Particularly because of Dr. Solemsaas. When my beloved cocker spaniel was diagnosed with Cushing's disease, he was very kind, explained everything patiently-more than once and was present when she had to be "put down." He is the only vet I know of that actually takes the time to call and check on his "patients", instead of you calling him. I was thoroughly impressed with him, and will not be taking my pets to anyone else.

I have had wonderful and friendly care from all the vets at Pinkerton. We take our dog and our cat here. They are always very thorough and answer any questions we have. Thank you for keeping our pets in tip top shape!

We have been more than pleased with Pinkerton Animal Hospital. Dr. Pinkerton has gone above and beyond for us through a serious illness with our dog. He came into the office on his day off to see us, and encouraged us to call him several times at home just to check in. We simply could not ask for more in a Vet.

My experience with Pinkerton was less than "World Class". My 4 year old cat had broken her elbow and I did NOT know about it. They asked me if I thought it was an emergency ie. bleeding, vomiting, etc....She wasnt. Turns out that because they made me wait 2 1/2 weeks to get an appointment because THEIR techs said she didnt need to be seen right away, they may have to amputate her leg costing me LOTS more than if they would have said "bring her in as an emergency patient"

Also, one of the doctors had the audacity to say that "This looks like its been going on a while"...and in so many words saying I abuse her. I love my cat. She's like a kid to me. I would never do that and for him to accuse me of that is plain wrong.

I do NOT recommend Pinkerton.

These are the best vets in town. They really care about animals and will do follow up and listen to your concerns. They are appreciative for your business too. I would highly recommend them for the best animal care in town coupled with caring attitude. Everyone I've ever spoken with has been very pleased also.

Pinkerton Veterinarians are very sincere. They truly care about your animals during the animal's lifetime. When it's time to put the animal to sleep, you are given options, and they always send a sympathy card. They are a gift from God!
