The Game Shoppe has the best selection of board games that I have found in the area. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The staff has played most of the games and give really useful critiques and advice. There aren't many places that will greet you by name after only a couple if visits, but the Game Shoppe is one.

I highly recommend this store!

The Game Shoppe in Bellevue is one of the best you could ever hope to find. I??ve been gaming and painting figures for over thirty years, they meet or beat any place I??ve been both here in the U. S. and in Europe. I??ve been to Games Workshops in England, they carry a very good selection of there games and are a lot more helpful the people in the Games Workshops Store. D. & J. Hobbies in Campbell Ca. is one of the biggest game shops in Northern Ca. and the Game Shoppe has a better selection!
They carry all major games, from The Games Work Shop, Flames of War, Legends, Warmachine, Iron Kingdome, and many more I can??t begin to remember. They have a great range of paints and supplies. They have hundreds of board games, and get new ones in all the time. They even have some comic books, and can order them if you ask. It is a game shop, not a comic book store with games added on, or Starwars figures to be bought or trade on e-bay.
Norm is the owner, and Becky is the manager. They both know the games and how to play them and will be glad to show how to play them. They take care of the customer. They greet all customers as they come in, they want you to be welcomed into there store where its your first time or you hundredth time. That??s not being Wal-Mart, that??s just good customer service.
I??ve been to the Dragons Liar, and Ground Zero. There Comic books stores first and a game shop second. Customer service at Dragons Liar is poor at best, Ground Zero is a real zero as far as customer service is concerned. I??ve placed orders there and been told by Dave the Manager it would be know problem. When I check back in on the order, he had for got to place it, then the next time I check on the order its out of stock, then they know longer carry it, or he claims that you never placed an order in the first place.
If you want good, quick, honest service go to the Game Shoppe. If its not in the store they can order if its available and get it to you much faster than any other game shop in Bellevue, Omaha, Lincoln Nebraska, De Moines Iowa or even Kansas City.

I am a bit of a newbie to board games so was very pleased to find The Game Shoppe in Bellevue. I had first called around to all the other local game and comic shops in the area looking for The Settlers of Catan. None of them had it in stock, in fact one shop owner, Dave at Ground Zero Comics told me the game was out of print but that he could get it for me when it came back out. I knew the game wasn't out of print as a friend of mine from Washington had just told me about it and suggested I get it. I let this little lie pass as I figured Dave was just uninformed. When I called The Game Shoppe they assured me the game was still in print and that they had several copies of it in stock as well as all the expansions. Becky even offered to put a copy aside for me since I wouldn't be able to get down there till the weekend. When I got there on Saturday, Becky greeted me very warmly. She even offered to let me play a demo of the game with her and Angie before I purchased it, so that I could make sure I liked the game. Since I had a bit of free time I accepted and was I ever glad I did. Not only did I pick up the base game but as well as all of the expansions. Let me just say thank you to Beck and Angie at The Game Shoppe for making my first board game purchase at your store a great one. I will definitely be back.

The Game Shoppe is the best store in the greater Omaha area for your gaming needs. They carry every major line of miniatures (Privateer Press, Games Workshop, Battlefront, Rackam) and most importantly the place to play them. The store can host a 24-person tournament with out an issue. The owner and managers are great, friendly, and knowledgeable in not only miniatures but also board games and collectables.
Bright, clean, great customer service. You couldnt ask for more in a store! Best place to spend your gaming dollar!

PROS: Best in store gaming in the greater Omaha area
CONS: Need to fix that heating unit :-)

My son and I go to this store monthly. They have a great selection of yugioh cards and lots and lots of comic books. They do hold matches periodically and are good at getting you rare items.

PROS: Good selection
