    .

Just visited the Panera's on south 72nd Street in Papillion. Bought a bagel and hot tea. Bagel was as dry as a bone. Took it up to the counter and they said "well, they were out of the oven at the same time....we haven't baked any since 1pm (it is 5pm now). In other words, we'd give you a new one but don't count on it being better. Made me feel like my request was ridiculous. So much for good management for a $1.25 bagel!

Okay, the sandwhiches are okay but, for the price charged, I expect much better and larger portions. The fancy coffee, espresso, etc. is akin to the offerings from other firms with those offerings but Paneras is more expensive.

There is plenty of room for lounging and the decor, with comfortable chairs, etc. is conducive to socializing.

I have noticed that most of the patrons arrive in expensive vehicles, suggesting that this firm's prices are on the high side and that the desired patrons are higher up the socio-economic ladder than I am.

Maybe I'd like Paneras better if the prices were more directly correlated with the amount and quality of the food. Or, perhaps if I had enough discretionary income that high price meant little to nothing to me I would rate this place higher.

Let your income be your guide. The food is decent and the decor is inviting. Patronize the place if you can afford it. Myself....there's other places that offer more for less so I won't be going back to Paneras. Well, maybe. If I have a gal I want to impress.

PROS: Clean, decent food, comfortable decor
    CONS: High prices
