Recently I received a call from Lake Manawa Kia saying that they were having a big sale on all of their Kia vehicles. I told them I would drive over and we would see what their deal was the next day. I went over and they gave me their best deal, however since I bought my 2008 Kia Optima at Kia of Omaha (now H&H Kia) I thought I would give them a chance. I stopped in at Kia of Omaha and talked with a salesman who kept playing the game that H&H is known for...the "let me go talk to my manager" game. I told him the deal that Lake Manawa offered but he still insisted on playing this game. After a while he said that they would only give me X amount for my car because it had been in a wreck. My response to him was that they fixed the car in their shop so how could I take a hit for that. He just said that was the best they could do. I asked to speak with the manager and he went to check to see if he would come out. He wouldn't so my next statement was that I was going to go to Lake Manawa and take the deal that they had. I was getting up to leave and the salesman shook my hand and said he was sorry, I then looked over the top of the cubicle and saw the manager hiding behind the cubicle listening to the conversation. Anyhow I went and bought the car from Lake Manawa from a lady named Michelle and my savings over there after trade and them working out a deal for me was a whopping $6500.00 difference on the exact same car that I drove at H&H. Thanks for the great deal Lake Manawa and thanks H&H for showing me which company is better. I will not be giving H&H another chance for my business in the future in fact I can't believe that they are even able to sell cars out of that location with those tactics.

It took them 45 days to complete our financing.They blamed it on the bank, the bank blamed it on them. Our loan got "lost" somewhere in cyberspace, it was a mess.

We went for a week with no vehicles because we couldn't register them yet but the first month's tag was expired. Initially they were sorry but couldn't help us. Then we were angry and the general manager "made arrangements" for us. Too little too late.

Another payment came out of our account for our trade-in which they were supposed to have paid off 3 weeks earlier. Papers were signed on March 21st...our trade-in loan was not paid until May 4th!!! When we finally tracked that extra payment down and got it back from Kia of Omaha, we were shorted nearly $50 because of the interest accrued while THEY took their sweet time getting the loan paid off...45 days later!!!! But it was "all the bank's fault" so it was our tough luck. :P

It was our first and will be our last experience with Kia of Omaha, or any Kia for that matter. They were not friendly, they tried our patience tremendously and made the experience a nightmare.

Pros: Salesman was ok

Cons: Customer service and finance office were a nightmare.
