The old market candy shop is located down near the Conagra complex. It is an interesting mix of old fashioned candy and unique new items destined to make you feel like a kid again. Their fudge and chocolates are handmade and taste sinful. They also carry rock candy and salt water taffy by the bunches.

PROS: Good selection of unique candy, worth the trip for the area
CONS: Can be pricy

This will amaze you. The sights and smells of candy in this shop are overwhelming. If you take your children in here be ready to spend some money. They have some old time favorites and lots of unique candies. It has the feel of an old-time candy store. This is a must see.

My children beg me to take them to the Old Market Candy shop every time we are in the downtown area. It is an old fashioned candy shop with all kinds of candy you haven't seen in a while - taffy, sen sen, candy cigarettes (!?) fudge, stuff like that. It's a cool trip back in time, and the prices, while not penny candy any more, are really reasonable! A fun stop while you are visiting the old market!
