La Casa has the best pizza in town! It is made how pizza should be. The crust is made with fresh sauce and toppings! You can tell they make it fresh right there everyday. I drive from West Omaha to downtown Omaha, just for the pizza! It is amazing.

I have enjoyed this place for many years! I have been going to La Casa since I was 5 years old and I am now married, a Mom and thirty seven years old (passing the tradition down to my own family). The food is wonderful and it is nice casual dinning. La Casa is a place I hope never closes!

Pros: Pizz crust

Cons: Long wait sometimes, but worth it

Great pizza!! If you don't like it you probably think Totinos is good stuff, and get your burgers off a dollar menu somewhere. The location on 82nd and Grover I actually like better. Other good pizza in Omaha is Zios and Don Carmellos in midtown.

Popular dining spot for years. Pizza is the star on this menu, a taste of heaven. My favorite is the hambuger, onion with Romano cheese. Be ready for a long wait to be seated if you come on the weekend.

I read a review concerning this restaurant and just had to offer MY opinion. SOME people think pizza is this thick, doughy mass, smothered in a multitude of toppings. WRONG! THAT is merely an opinion uttered by a culinarily challenged person, who has undoubtedly been raised on the veritable plethora of mass-produced pizza chain-style food! Globs of acidic sauce, layered on thick gummy dough then topped with everything concievable, finally smothered cheese! Yummy! NOT! La Casa pizza is INTENTIONALLY made thin, authentic and true to the country of origin. Best with just a few toppings! Their use of Romono cheese as opposed to Mozzarella, (even though you can have either or both) is the absolute best! Toppings available are many and always fresh. You can pile toppings on your pizza as well, but the restaurant does suggest a limitation. This is only due to the fact that the crust is a light thin crust, not designed to carry the entire produce section! I suggest that you limit yourself to 2-3 toppings. Of course, the absolute best pizza, (in my opinion, being raised Italain as well as being a chef, so it just may count for a little something) is their plain, simple, straight tomato and cheese pizza, made with the original Romono cheese. Austere, basic and 100% delicious!
Their main dishes are superb! The lasagna is a delight as are the rest of their offerings. The sauces are all delicious and the portions are quite large.
I am a regular patron, (dining in around 6-10 times a year with an additional 15 or more take-out visits) and have been enjoying their food since I was a small child around 1965 or so.

PROS: Authentic. Family-friendly environment. Excellent portion size.
CONS: Just a tad more expensive, but well worth it! I will gladly pay for quality

This is a resturaunt close to my heart. I know it will never get 5 stars fom some New York reviewer, but the good food and great service and welcoming staff always make me feel at home there. I can't wait to go back and have another pizza. Very good sauce and made by people who care about what they are doing.

Lunch as La Casa is delicious -- as I'm sure dinner is, as well. The chicken lasagna with garlic and red sauce is wonderful served in it's own small casserole. The salad is excellent with the house dressing and the rolls are very good even though you only get one each. There are many specials which allow you to try a slice or two of pizza or some of their excellent Italian cheese bread.
