Garbo's in Regency ROCKS! I have been a client for several years and recently my stylist relocated to the east coast. I was referred to Chaz, a delightful woman who made me feel that i was in good hands from the very start. And what i loved about that first experience with her was that she "listened" to me. I don't even think i realized that i was looking for a new look, but she seemed to "hear" that as we spoke. She took the time to ask me several questions and although i was scheduled only for a cut that day, she suggested a simple color plan to accentuate the cut, too, and the end result was fabulous. Something i never would've come up with on my own. She and the entire staff were professional, timely, and the owner even stopped by and welcomed me back. After my stylist moved away i was considering trying another salon, but this experience is why i have and always will be one of their biggest fans. Thank you GARBO'S!!

receptionist looks down her nose at you if she
thinks you are not their type of clientel.
I was revisiting their salon after a long time away,
and had been ill,so my hair hadn't been cut for several months.
The guy they assigned me too didn't know how to
cut hair,he only knew what he knew..not a style
that I wanted..so he REFUSED to cut my hair siting
that my hair hadn't been styled for awhile.
(why do you think I am here dufus?)

I had the unfortunate experience of going to Lindsay at Garbos in Regency for a wedding updo. I was 20 mins late much to my dismay--apologized for being late and was scolded by the rude girl at the front desk and then scolded again by Lindsay the stylist. She told me she would "see what she could do" and went on how late I was in a completely rude snotty tone. She pushed out an ugly style that I could get at any cheap salon and it took her all of 20 minutes--I was the first person done from our party. She charged me 55 dollars and was rude the entire time. The kicker is--I tried calling them on my way to tell them I would be a little late and the receptionist was too inexperienced to know how to take the message. Get over yourself Garbos-- you are NOT fabulous!!!

I emailed a complaint to the salon but never heard back. I had a bad eyebrow wax. I was in and out within 5 minutes. There were hairs and wax left on my brows after the treatment. The next day I notice a red mark on one of my brow from the bad wax job. Never again!

I have had my hair cut by Trish at "The Point" 3 times now. No big deal you say....well I live in Scottsdale AZ. I refuse to let anyone else touch my hair. She is the BEST! I make the trek back to my home town every 2 mo. to visit family and Trish!

I just had the best salon experience of my lifethe stylist did a wonderful men's haircut, and after that I treated myself to a massage. What a wonderful massage,it was relaxing and the hair cut greatI recommend Garbos to all guys out there.
Beside a hot new look for me the stylists were hot to look at

If you are a brown woman, or a woman of color, I would not go to Garbo's. I had a bad experience at their Harrison St. location in which I was informed by a woman I later found out was the co-owner Celine that I could only have dark hair because I have dark eyes. I was trying to get my level 2 hair warmed up a bit with some caramel highlights, which I know is possible since I've done it before without problems or attitude, but this woman berated me in front of everyone for not accepting that I need to have black hair since I have dark brown eyes. How asinine! I told her I wanted to lighten up my look a little bit and she responded "Why?! You have dark eyes!" I noticed her obviously brunette hair was highlighted blondish to within an inch of its life, so I guess I can't lighten my hair because I'm BROWN. Roxanne at regency was no help, she said she trusts her partner, gave me the old excuse of I must have misunderstood! That Celine was so awful that the girl doing my hair apologized to me for her after she walked away. So NO MORE GARBO'S FOR ME EVER!

Katie is the best!! Always knows how to cut, color and make you feel good about your decisions. Everytime I visit she makes great suggestions, picks the best colors for your complection and does wonders!! Highly recommended!

I moved to Omaha about 2 years ago and ever since then I have tried several different hair salons, I was satisfied with some but never blown away by them. Then a friend told be to try Garbo's I did and they were very friendly and did a awesome job. I have since became a regular. The prices are decent I have paid less but I have also paid more. The hairstylest I go to is so nice and I love the way see cuts my hair that I make sure I give a nice tip everytime I go there, which is about every 3 weeks

Although Garbos does a good job with their haircuts, they are kind of pricey and have a LOT of attitude. It seemed to me that the stylists there are very self-satisfied, and if you don't want to accept their recommendations for your haircut, they don't want to spend the time on you. I have heard some rave reviews for Garbo's which is why I tried it, but I won't go back.

I've been going to Garbos for about 10 years. They offer several lines of products and services. I feel they do a good job of keeping up with the latest styles and trends.
