Lots of books. Music and movies on CDs and DVDs. A coffee bar area with adequate seating. By golly, looks just like every Borders book store I've visited in several different states.

The staff at this particular location is friendly and helpful. No complaints in that area.

However, the prices for most of their music and movies is higher than most other places offering these products. Borders does stock music and movie offerings not found in competing stores so that can be handy if what you lust after is not available at the other firms you frequent. This availability was more critical in pre-Web days. What with so many folks having Web access today those harder-to-find movies and music can be readily found on-line and at prices often much lower than Border's brick-and-motar store retail price.

Book prices vary with various volumes going on and off sale price. Judicious buying, waiting for the book you want to possibly go on sale, can save you money. But, as with the music and movies, on-line buying can be a money saver. Apparently there are enough people not using the Web to shop to keep these retail establishments afloat.

However, due to the cost savings of on-line purchasing I buy much less from stores such as Borders though I do tend to impulse buy from their magazine section. This particular Borders has a rather meager magazine section, though. One of their chain book store competitors located around 5 miles away has a much larger magazine section.

For those who won't or can't buy music, books or movies on-line, Borders is a good place to go but note the comments above regarding pricing.

PROS: Clean, attentive staff, decent book selection
CONS: High prices
