.

I have three children who have attended Holy Cross. My oldest is now in high school, but the others are still students at Holy Cross School. This school is highly recommended for quality education for preschool through the eighth grade. Curriculum includes all of the basics, in addition to an excellent fine arts program, with art and music teachers on staff. Extracurricular activities offered include a wide range of sports, band, choir, academic booster club programs such as chess club and others. The faculty is passionate about their professions and the care and concern for the students is very evident. Teachers implement the Discipline With Purpose program which was designed to help students become self disciplined. It includes fifteen life skills that are taught and practiced in school and at home: Listening, Following Instructions, Asking Questions, Sharing, Social Skills, Cooperation, Reasons for Rules, Completing a Task, Leadership, Communication, Organizing Time, Working with Others to Resolve Problems, Initiating Solutions to Problems, Separating Fact from Feeling and Serving Others. Students learn respect and concern for themselves and others.
