I am frustrated with the vet care in the area. Cheshire vet has a round robin of part timers, except for the big man Dr. Pearson. He is out due to a bike accident and the others were not experienced enough to handle my animal during a medical crisis. We had to bundle him up and run him across town to Court street. They have been tremendous. Kind, caring, and quite knowledgeable about the condition my cat is suffering from. They have provided high level pain relief during his recovery, and are pampering him while he recovers from surgery. While they wanted to be sure I could pay for his care, I never felt it was about the bottom line. Many neighbors use them and are quite happy with the care their own animals receive. I wouldnt hesitate to use them again.

I've gotten decent care from this vet, but I always felt like they were looking to see how much cash they could get out of me. I didn't really feel like the doctors I dealt with were in it because of the love of animals. I want some advice on preventative flea and worm treatments, but I'm sure they'll make me come in and spend $300 before they give me an answer, and that annoys me enough that I'm loathe to pick up the phone.

Don't go to this vet. My 1 1/2 year old spayed poodle/terrier mix had been spotting and bleeding for months. They did 2 surgeries but nothing seemed to help. I finally got fed up with the vet giving me different stories every time I brought her so I switched to Cheshire Animal Hospital in Keene. After 2 weeks and 2 visits at Cheshire Animal Hospital they found the cause of my dog's bleeding, a tumor the size of a kiwi. My poor dog has to go in for surgery to have this tumor removed that may or may not be cancerous. I'm not even upset about the money, it's the pain and agony that my poor dog has gone through several times now. She was a stray that already had a horrible life and now she's so happy but this vet misdiagnosed her more than once. I also found out that this vet had his own dogs debarked. Who would do such a thing? Find a vet that loves their job and the animals they care for.

Court St. Vets have always treated our pets like ones of their own. They truly care for each one of their patients, and get to know them and really love them, which makes you feel 100 times better when you have to bring your animal in for either routine checkup or things more serious. I would totally trust them with any pet any time for any thing.
